Singapore should have a WOW Server in 2024

Singapore is the heart of SEA, and it’s almost 2024, it’s time that we push for our own retail server. there is a huge player base of Singaporeans and Malaysians and neighbouring countries that would benefit and I’m sure many players would return to the game if there was a main server in Singapore. Other games already have main servers in Singapore namely DOTA 2 and CS 2, why not WOW? I know 90-100 MS on OCE servers is playable but you can really feel a huge difference playing on 10-20 MS when I was in Australia. Make it happen Blizzard for next expansion, show the SEA region some love.

Bump for Singapore servers!

We could really use an SG server! I’m directed to the AU servers where the overland latency is fine but as soon as I’m doing group content or BG I’m placed with players with NA region(understandably) which makes the ping skyrocket. A dedicated SG server similar to the TW region servers will do nicely. Thanks!

Would be nice to get singapore server. Playing from Thailand, it’s so rough with ping and doesn’t make sense to get all of my friend to join wow and immediately buy VPN to do so

We can hope, but I think AU player numbers dwarves SEA players and that’s why SEA don’t get any dedicated WoW Server.

Bump! i wholeheartedly agree, been playing since legion in na servers and its been hell with the constant 300+ ms. Us sea players are in desperate need for a dedicated server. PLEASE BLIZZARD

100%. surprised why we dont have one!

Bump, can we have SEA servers with the TWW launch?

Yes PLEASE make this happen! I play from Bali, Indonesia and the absolute best ping I can get is 130ms. I get recked every week in my guild Heroic/Mythic raids as it just makes a huge difference.

i want Singapore servers just cause since MoP Remix oceanic latency went up by 50-ish ms to 150ms and after yesterday’s last minute server restart, its up to 250ms now.

so i tried troubleshooting with WinMTR and on the support page, Oceania is 103.4.115.248. being curious i did an ip lookup of its geographic location… and its in Singapore.

and when i do a trace route i get this:

Bump for SG servers

+1 for SG server

SG server would be a godsend for the SEA community, Australia is a few corners away after all and if you get grouped up with the NA players through group finder it’s pretty standard for your latency to jump upwards of 300ms.

Heck they could even just use the existing datacenter in TW for the SEA server, would be a huge improvement for many of us here.

agree, every SEA player love it when they are connected to SG server on overwatch/HoTS, just why theres not a SG server, its the best latency server for players from SG/MY/IND/PH/TH, for some players its the latency that is driving them away from this game

I play from Japan and I also support this idea even though I doubt Blizzard actually cares. English Asian servers part of the NA group would be ideal.
