Sinful Delight modification

Placed here because I play a mage, and would be interested to see if this rework would be feasible for us and other classes.

Suggested rework of this legendary effect.

Keep the ‘reduce cooldown of Mirror’s of Torment by ‘spec ability’+1’ seconds, but reduce the CD time by 30 seconds (from 45) if DISPELLED, (+or upon targets death. )

This could be interesting. Especially to add to more mob rotation vs burst dps spec. Against vs just a single boss, very small dps increase. Multi-target, possible 5-15%?
I don’t have the algorithms for all classes to measure the actual dps changes that this would affect, but I feel this is a simple improvement?

Best change they could do is just reduce its CD to 45 seconds, this will make it align much better with CDs and not dependant on RNG Brain Freeze / Clearcasting procs. Fire and Frost Mages then can align it with Rune of Power CD. Arcane Mages can align it with both RoP and Touch of the Magi CD.

A suggested bonus is that Mirrors would also insta proc 1 of remaining mirrors if dispelled. This ability is very punishable by dispels, so giving it at least some additional value in such situations is a good option. Dispels would still stay as a counterplay measure though, as they can still prevent final mirror with its damage, CC and CDR / proc.

I agree and also they should make the spell have more than three mirrors if using the legendary. I say at least 6 or 8.

What I’d like for them to do is make the legendary increase the number of mirrors by at least 2 and make them be consumed over time instead of reacting to the target’s actions. Extra mirrors would be a nice interaction with the spell specific conduit for some extra damage.

I’d also like for Heart of the Fae to be more useful especially in ST. You can’t seriously look at that effect and call it legendary. Being able to move while casting Shifting Power is nice, but why would we want to move at all when we use Dreamweaver and there’s a pool that grants us 15% Haste that’s stationary? I also find the stat increase very weak and they way we get it doesn’t synergize well with either Fire or Arcane since Shifting Power is usually used at the end of the burst or after it for those specs.

Death’s Fathom should probably reduce Deathborne’s cooldown by 1min since it’s the coolest spell of them all but on a ridiculous 3min cooldown.

If they only buffed the CDR from Sinful Delight to consistently hit around 45s then it would be an actual DPS increase for arcane. Currently the only thing my unity is useful for is being a stat stick.

*Same post as before, just wanted to post on my mage.

I really wish we could get more attention or a response on this issue. As it stands the double leggo does NOTHING for venthyr arcane mages, other than provide another 291 ivl piece. Is this intended?

The point should be more actual options, right? But in this case, an increase in power kinda forces us to a different covenant. I’d love to hear someone who plays mage on the council ask about this.

Bumping.

I was hoping after the race to world first finished we’d see some tuning to covenent legendaries, but Sinful Delight remains nothing more than a stat stick to arcane.
