Since the Original Exodus from ED to WRA

The guy saying that I’m Scabbies is a bad person and you probably shouldn’t trust him.

Have any of y’all tried Fallout 76 recently?

I wanted to give it a go but after 4 hours of install time I was a bit turned away by even the login screen being unusable

I should have but I really did think the third option was funnier/more in character. And it did end up being pretty funny when everyone realized he had a bird head

that’s too bad, it is pretty fun but you can take solace in the fact that you’ve never had to deal with your favorite guns getting sunsetted into uselessness so that’s nice

i thought they said they were getting rid of sunsetting??

they might be but i still have some old guns i loved that can’t get above 1060 light while current cap is like 1340

maybe when they do go through with it the cap will be removed though??? not sure how they’re changing it

im sure most of you have played this but Rimworld is something else if you like to role play.

I refused to ever touch it again after Bethesda banned a group of players that were finding bugs and exploits, testing them, and then reporting them in detail to Bethesda. Community managers tried to stand up for them but customer service wouldn’t have it. If you’re going to ban players who love your game so much they want to help you make it better then you’re not getting any money from me.

I feel that yeah and I went ahead and bought a key for the game for that reason along with many others regarding it, but I figured it was worth an attempt after seeing so many say its turned around a bit. Figured the lore could at least be enticing if nothing else, but I cant even get into the game lol

I haven’t tried it since the first big PvE update but I can say playing with someone else (or more than 1 someones, presumably) really helps to make the game a lot more fun.

thats cause most mmos are a money grab. People complain about wow but whats out there is so much worse.

76 is absolutely a money grab and still is but there’s a followable plot at least… at least that’s what I hear

it seems like you’d have to be a fan of the franchise to enjoy that game. similar to elder scrolls.

They both should have just came out with single player games and stuck to what theyre good at.

I love both franchises tbh, and I really do enjoy ESO in short bursts of playtime. I feel like with ESO and probably 76 as well is that these are not single-player Bethesda RPGs like we’ve been pampered with in the past, they’re MMORPGS.

I am a casual fan of Fallout (I enjoyed Fallout 4 which probably says something already to some) and I found 76 enjoyable. I played it on release (more hours there than when the PvE patch came out) for something like 70 hours total over 3-4? weeks maybe.

We did a few of the new PvE quests, and they were very much Fallout 4, maybe a bit more variety? But I only played after the patch for 10-12 hours because of IRL business and whatnot.

I’m glad you said this as I was close giving up on the game entirely. I’ll wait for my new PC to come in and reinstall it there and hope (HOPE) the game will let me in

Im currently subbed to 76 and its kinda in a weird place right now. In a perfect world it would be an amazing game with all the recent updates and qol improvements they have made.

But it’s not a perfect world and 76 is not a perfect game. But I still play it and still enjoy it. Bugs, and cheaters, and all.
