Since the AH is cross server

Oh you think we flagged you because we disagree with you? Interesting.

You don’t perhaps think it’s to do with your behavior in your own thread?

Oh interesting:

Please delete the thread. I got the help I requested, and it devolved into bickering.

Their insults aren’t excusable. But that only started because everyone dogpiled onto them for wanting a way to file a report. Something Blizzard legit tells us to do if we see any suspicious activity or behavior that may look like botting.

Yet everyone kept being dismissive, condescending and snippy instead of answering them. This didn’t need to be an argument. None of us knows if it’s botting or not. But all they wanted was a way to file the report so Blizzard could figure that out.

@Tinkertrain next time, just ask in CS instead of here. It may not turn into a poo show that way.

Thanks for the help Sendryn. You’re a total Chad <3 I’d just come back to the game after years of being gone. It used to be much easier to open reports than it is now. Which is why I had asked. If most of the people in this thread are a reflection of the player base its probably time to find a different game. Bunch of nasty people.

From my experience on my server, the people in game are fine. But I stick with my server peeps, friends and my guildies.

This forum is a cesspool— I’m not any better sometimes.

If you’re being flagged it’s because of all the name calling and insults lol. You didn’t hear what you wanted to hear and we’re told that it’s probably not bots and you seem to go straight to the name calling

Make a character on that server and faction then /w them when the name come up right click the name then report. you need to get enough reports to hope for any action tho good luck those people need to back under the rock they came from.

Cognitive skills is all it takes to figure it out
When did the issue start?
When the AH was combined.
You saying that bots JUST started botting the AH at THAT point in time? lol

Hardly.

“this GUY”…clearly indicating that ONE character is causing all this problem in the AH and even though dozens…hundreds…maybe thousands of us have seen the exact same thing buying VARIOUS AH item…we’re supposed to believe you that ‘this guy’…ONE character…is affecting all of us that greatly…and yet somehow blizard has failed to notice OR action the account.

lol…

sorry…its not a bot…its a long list of players going for the same thing you are.

YOU choosing to name call people trying to give you the facts here is the ‘bait’ here.

…there they go again…

Seriously folks, enough with the name calling and aggressive posting towards each other.

Yes, there is no proof that someone is a bot, and frankly a lot of the accusations on the Auction House tend to be wrong. However, if someone has a suspicion and wants to know what they can do to report it, they should be able to ask for that information without all of whatever the heck happened here.

Tinkertrain, I haven’t gone though the entire thread yet, but to answer the question you can email Hacks@blizzard.com if you suspect someone is exploiting.

I do want to point out a few things.

  1. That team does keep an eye out for automation, including things being processed faster then they should be able to on their own or with an addon.
  2. It is a one way reporting method. They will not be able to provide any information regarding your reports and it is possible you may be wrong. Accusations fly around all the time and we have looked into many of them and found nothing amiss. We are not able to generally share details of our investigations or results.
  3. Investigations can take several weeks to several months as the goal in a lot of cases if exploitation is determined, is to figure out how they are doing what they are doing and how to catch those using it, including those not reported.
