I never heard of WoW Direct and I’m not much into social media outside of YouTube. But I’ll take a look at your link.
It’s literally been on the Battle.net launcher you look at every time you launch the game for the better part of three weeks (with a countdown timer!), as well as the front page of this very website.
I get that not everyone looks at social media, but I honestly don’t know how a WoW player logging in daily (or even on just weekends) over nearly the last month didn’t know this announcement event was coming. I honestly can’t fathom how someone is that oblivious to something that was fairly in your face and very hard to miss 0_0

I hardly ever give much more than a glance at the launcher. There’s almost never anything there of interest except for the WoW button, Classic Wow button and the Play button.
That’s one of the advantages of not suffering from the FOMO addiction.

After you shell out the gold for it, sure. First few months of TWW inflated gold a lot for many players and we need more sinks baby!
you do realize if they ever add an armor dye system it wouldnt work retroactively
new gear they release would need to allow armor dye since all gear in the game atm is hand painted.
the task of making every single item dyeable from the last 20 years is not something on the table id bet
also what would happen to raid recolors?
I rather sink my gold for a mount that i can use for a few mill rather than something useless
Download Second Life and create a 'toon. It’s there along with all the other body parts.
