2 - WoL had no way to know, at that point, that his friends would not be killed. So he literally let everyone behind to die.
3 - WoL defeated the ULTIMA WEAPON without the blessing of the Crystal (the last phase of the fight we’re fighting without the help of the crystal) and also defeated an Ascian in the sequence ALSO without the help of the Crystal.
4 - WoL was rested at that point.
Every single thing I’m saying here is a VERIFIABLE truth. You FFXIV fans are intellectual dishonest in regards this terrible story.

Honestly…I agree with this. Maybe it’s because the YoshiP riders kept overhyping the story but when I finally played it, it was okay at best. Their writers are just as bad if not worse than WoW when it comes to leaning on tropes. (How many times is Y’shtola going to die or there’s going to be a fakeout death?). Also Endwalker was just trash, I could go into a 5 page essay on it but you can just look on their forums at the “What’s the point with that quite lackluster story in Endwalker” thread.

WoL literally let his friends behind, so they could fight the guards that were pursuing him through the sewer, with no opposition ahead (the reason why WoL and Alphinaud manage to scape).
The same WoL that had the power to defeat the ULTIMATE WEAPON even without the blessing of the crystal, and also an Ascian in the very sequence. This fully rested WoL let his friends (that the game portrait as the very reason he did everything in the first place) to die (as we had no way to know they would not die at that point) to “defend him” of less than 10 guards (as the game shows) pursuing him.
There is not a single line of what I said that is disproved by the video, you guys are lying.
Hold up now, don’t start backtracking. You literally said the WoL abandoned everyone. There is a massive difference between abandoning everyone and having people stay behind to ensure you could escape.
