Anyone else have that issue. Used to be once launching Wow classic, it would immediately connect to the server and character I was last playing. Now, it defaults to the Myzrael server which I have no characters so I immediately start on the make new character screen. Not a huge deal, but its irritating particularly since it never worked like that before.
In the BNet client look in lower left-hand corner. Change Game Version to read World of Warcraft Classic and change Launch Into to Hardcore. Hit Play. Good to go.
On the launcher, I had to change the 2nd dropdown box in the bottom left called’Launch Into" to ‘Hardcore Anniversary Realms’ to get it to automatically to Doomhowl.
Check there if you haven’t already.
Awesome. Thanks! Figured it would be something stupid like that.
Thanks so much for the advise. You are the Hero of the day!
It doesnt even connect me now. I have to log out of bnet entirely, then restart the entire thing and then click refresh even after that and then have to log back in by going to the login here, then have to go to the battlent client and enter in my login info again. if I don’t do that then it will show as connecting with a spinning circle but it never does connect.
Try skipping the Launcher entirely and make a shortcut on your desktop - only bother is that you’ll have to type in your password to log in. I do this, because the launcher so often do this blue whirlygig instead of logging me in. (I’ve got fibre and cable from router, so very stable, very fast connexion).
Make sure you’re right clicking and logging in as Administrator. It should not take anywhere near that amount of hoops to log in.
