Heya,

How is assassination in keys this season? How will they go with the 4pce?

Thinking about taking this alt here a bit more seriously, sub is really fun but I’d like to play both if Assa isn’t too far behind, all I keep seeing in tier lists, top player breakdowns etc, is how S tier Sub is gonna be

To be fair, probably better than Outlaw.
I just feel like Sin in keys is such a pain and micro managing. Good ST tho. Bad stigma.
With 4P might be decent. Sub, of course, is the meta.

But who am I? I am Outlaw lmao. I get carried through every key.

Tier lists are nothing but clickbait. Ignore them. If you want a true breakdown start in the discord. That said, unless you’re pushing 20+ keys sin will be perfectly fine.

Sin is fun in keys. Should be one of the best funnel specs once we have 4 piece sets. Basically anywhere you can Fok for combo point building then lay big envenoms on a single target. Sub is considered the meta for high key level pushing.

if your getting carried as outlaw, then it sounds like a you problem more than a spec issue

Ran logs last week, parsed 95 or something.
But that was before tier sets. I ran more SOD than you, and never got Edge of Night. And I ran more SOF than you, and you got 2p and I got zero lmao
And by getting “carried:”, i mean that Warriors and Hunters pull 15k on onverall, while I do like 11-12

you did more content than i do, parse higher, dont have edge of night, and your pulling overal 11-12k? ya def sounds like a you issue more than a spec issue.

True, I do take them with a large grain of salt but when they get guys like Whispyr on their “tier lists” I get kind of interested in their takes, and hey they put assass into A tier so I suppose it’s good enough to hold it’s own, I was moreso just seeing if any rock solid players on the forums would recommend giving it a shot over Sub, only because Sub is stealing the show atm

Sin is fun, that’s my main Rogue spec. Just trying out Sub to see what all the hype is about (and i get it, it’s spiffy).

But I like running 3 different bleeds and micromanaging them. I’m not 100% how far behind Sin is compared to Sub in AoE setting, but I know that you’ll have no problem pushing 15+ easy as Sin.

It’s my favorite of the 3

I think Assasination is dead in m+. Sub a lot of better

Sub is easier to play and does more better things.
But I like sin too.
But the on demand burst or on demand priority for sub is totally insane.

People look at meters too much also. Yea, a sub rogue can blow the meters up. But a good sub rogue will completely destroy a priority target and not show out on the meters.

Be a good rogue. Kill priority targets asap and then do your black powder spam.

Hint: in pugs, the priority target is always the one that does aoe. You kill it before it kills your group.

Sin picks up where Sub falls short.

They’re both good at ST
They’re both good at funneling

But Sub excels at 5-6+ targets and falls short with cleave at 2-4 targets. But that’s where Sin picks up.

3 empowered Garrotes, 4 Ruptures feeding you energy, and Crimson Tempest, all while pumping Envenoms. :+1:
