I know what you mean OP and I hope for the same. Things like the Explorer set or the Exile’s Reach sets or the Wrathion backpack. Just want some normal non bathrobe cloth armor that isn’t 15 years old or flat out ugly.

Simple mogs don’t seem to be popular.
I’m lucky. I main a female elf mage. Lots of options to make simple mogs and I tend to run in simple mogs. I like them, but most people consider simple mogs “boring”.
I manage to run fairly simple mogs with my alts too (druid). SL hasn’t been too bad for the druid.
