Pretty simple ditch the fresh and come back to era. There’s no place like home baby !!!
where everything is priced to a lvl 60’s income.
no thanks

Gdkps no thanks
If you sell greens on the AH you can make like 10k gold easily on the way to 10 if you’re really good… 5K if you just dump on the AH.
Its actually kinda ideal for alts / new players because you don’t need to fund them, they can make heaps just using auction.
There is roughly 1500 - 2000 gold worth of quest vendor items and RNG greens and gold on the way to 60; if you don’t waste it and play smart you can keep the bulk of this without ever touching the AH. This depends heavily on the leveling path you use; mine is build for Gold not maximum XP / HR.
I level characters all the time, and WMC is really damn good for leveling and just having a great time; the community is hella chill too.
Anniversary servers are the most fun i’ve had in WoW in a long time.
sorry aint dealing with gdkps, i dont even mind people buying gold but it changes the whole dynamic with guilds and culture, dont like it
I never left!
Don’t get me wrong, I actually like the no GDKP rule and the no debuff limit, but I feel like dual spec takes a lot of what makes the game something I enjoy. Even with the changes aside though, it’s a lot to ask to give up my established characters to move to a server where the characters may, or may not last. I really just wanna casually play some TBC, lol.
So I’ll stay in Era where I know my characters are less likely to just get outright deleted on the no GDKP server I found a home on ![]()
ewww, no thanks
Is this like your signature or something?
I was never in era but I played in vanilla. I have no interest in paying dollars for raid drops.
I think for a lot of us this is a very reasonable approach.
I’d be in era if they brought back clones. Would have long ago.
Their timing with that was scuffed.
So does this mean 90% of us would be hypocrites?
I saw so much begging for FRESH and TBC and now we got it but everyone hates it now?
Sheesh. Would have been easier to just wipe ERA realms character data and start literally over again there. Simple.
You’d be surprised how people would GET OVER their obsession with stagnant markets and characters they have to begin a new adventure…
The ones that are upset over the deletion will just have to either deal with it or move on. Just like with the future changes coming in 2025 to ERA realms. It will happen, deal with it.
It’s not an attack, nor an attempt to start an argument or point the finger at anyone.
It is merely a statement that I think it’s a reasonable approach.

The fact it defaulted to transferring to TBC Classic was a horrible idea to begin with. They had to have known they were at least going to WotLK when that was implemented and it’s obviously better to continue where you left off instead of logging in to a character who is multiple expansions behind.
I just dont see why its so hard for blizzard to give us a notice or not if character copies are going to be a THING or not for this…
Some people are riding the edge until TBC hits if they are going to continue playing AT ALL because of this fact.
I’d have quit over this! Plain and simple. The reason why I play here, and not on some alterntive platform is that I want to KEEP my character.
I do. By not going there before I know what will eventually happen.
Doesnt that mean all the stuff you find while leveling will sell for more?
