I don’t think you can outside of an instance. Inside an instance I believe you can. Not 100% certain on that though

Not sure about factions, but if you are in the same party, you might be able to? I can’t send items to guildies through the mail on different servers but I can trade them if they are in party. Try that.
Well after testing it myself, the answer is no.
More accurately, the answer is: No, unless you’re in an instance, then yes.

Wow, that’s a strange restriction.
That’s how it’s worked since trading restrictions were changed. Form a group and meet in an instance to trade cross faction.
Its still coded so that in the open world you’re still “enemies” so you cant trade or even help people from the opposite faction…reguardless if you are in a group together or not
Inside instances factions go away.

You need to be in an instance because for some weird reason the FACKSHUN WAR requires us to keep up appearances of hating each other in the open world. I guess some NPC might tell on us to our commanding officer or something.
Yes, create a group and go into any dungeon.
You can only trade gear that dropped in that dungeon
Put them in your warbank, then make an alt of the right faction on their server. Have that character take them out of your warbank and trade the items to them. Since you specify white/gray/trash items I’m guessing they’re not soulbound items.
