Simple Joys in Warcraft

When the Horde burns down an Alliance city. Just feels so good.

When your Rogue is stealthed in hostile territory and you spot a low level opposite faction player in trouble.

Pop out of stealth, kill the mob attacking them, wave, and vanish.

Them: “WTH just happened?”

I was sitting on a plateau admiring the stormy skies and rain, and watched as the clouds suddenly parted and the sun came out. It was really nice to experience.

I’d say my fave moment has been dancing with other players in Valdrakken and just having a good time overall, relaxing and all that while having music playing in the background. I have to admit it’s a lot of fun, anyone else agree?

I somehow have yet to find them. And I want them to start me on a campaign to build my own caravan!

They’re hanging around the Dragonscale Expecition base camp.

-That moment of realization that none of the Druid aquatic forms are animals that are capable of breathing underwater. Think about it, I’ll wait.

-Turning into treant form and standing in a basic campfire until I get set on fire.

-Stealthing out of a cave with mobs outside it so I can mount without engaging them.

-Flying INTO a cave at full speed and getting to an upper level before the server catches up with me and I dismount.

-That island full of dragon skull wearing crabs South Southeast of Iskarra.

-Random compliments for having the Zulian Tiger Mount.

-“Pray return to the Waking Shore” text option from the Wyrmhole teleporter. It’s such a great nod to FF14 and specifically all the times Minfilia says “Pray return to the waking sands” in A Realm Reborn. People forget that the WoW dev team including Ion plays FF14.

-When you’re in war mode and someone stops RIGHT ON A CLIFF EDGE so you do god’s work and stealth up to them and Typhoon them off.

-Pulling all the things and taking no damage because Bear is the best class in the game.

-Going into timewalking with a fully upgraded HOA with essences and a handfull of legendaries and just destroying it.

There are a few things I like to do in the game…

-Going for a ride on my motorcycle mount from Stormwind to Gilneas.

-Stopping to take in a good view. Recently started doing that in DF because that island is so beautiful and I’ve now been doing it in other areas.

-Flying around the zone without a care in the world.

…There are some more that I can’t think right now at the moment but I do enjoy checking out the views and go for a ride.

You need to make a thread about this. :kissing_heart:

Welp, looks like I’m waking up my engineer. I had no idea!

I have an alt that I’ll play when I need a break from current content but still want to play the game. I stopped his XP at level 59 so he doesn’t outlevel pre DF content and will just roam around Azeroth wherever I feel like being (just on Azeroth, no Outlands/Shadowlands/WoD) and wander. I’ll turn down the music and sfx, turn up ambience and relax. This really is a beautiful game.

Dragon riding.
Not from point A to point B, but just going as high as I can and gliding at medium pace to take in the view. As usual the art team killed it in DF.

Might make a good tuesday thread while realms are down. I think many toys have secret uses. Wanna see your toon walk REALLLY slow? Cast: World Shrinker then cast Whole Body Shrinka’ (in that order) then toggle from run to walk. Works in druid forums but if you cast a mount it will remove Whole Body Shrinka’ which ruins the slow effect.

Transmorpher beacon (blizz store toy $10) can be cast while mounted and as high up in the sky as you like, but click on it and morph into something and you will be dismounted (casting it wont dismount you)

Nightmarish Hitching Post (comes with Warforged Nightmare- Blizz store $30) can be cast while falling and will stay in the air if cast over 30 feet up (or it will fall to ground) you can then fly up, click on it the instant you dismount, and it will cast the Warforged Nightmare in midair (you will fall a bit during casting time) but u will fall to ground if you don’t time it right (less risky for druids who can just cast bird form if we miss)

An addition to my stable of Stupid WoW Tricks for this expansion has been answering the question, “How fast can I do a non-stop circumnavigation of the Dragon Isles?”

So far I’ve got it down to 9 minutes, 29 seconds.

Reminds me of racing mechanostriders around the outer circle of Ironforge. Good times.

Whaaaat that’s awesome

While on one of my priests and doing BG’s, MCing enemies and running em off high ledges.

All this.

I would’ve said Archaeology as well, but there hasn’t been any for two expansions now.
