Simple easy guide Dawnbreaker Heroic prep guide

Hopefully this will help. I understand sometimes the youtube guides can be a bit pacy.

Whoever understands this guide, should be the shot caller and help their team, as the dungeon can get out of hand if you don’t control it.

1 - Take the first add Nightfall Shadowmage - interrupt her Ensnaring Shadows.
2- Focus down Nightfall Ritualist’s - do not waste interrupts.
3- Head to Dawnbreaker - Here your tank must focus on Nightfall Commander’s - tank buster Tainted Slash.
4- You will once again see Shadowmage & ritualist. Do the same and take them down.

5- Mount up and head to the ship which ever side - does not matter.
6- Make sure to interrupt Abyssal Howl on both sides of the ship. Once the adds are down. Plant bomb.
6- Head to the other ship and do the same and plant the bomb.

7- Head to Dawnbreaker - interrupt as many times as possible Shadow Bolts.
8- Obsidian Blast - Shadow damage - in Mythic this turns into a beam and one shots you.
9 - At 50 & 5% Hp she casts Darkness comes - this is when you mount up. Pay attention to the debuff, eat at least 2 yellow balls to stay safe. She should die here.

10 - tank the rare at the church, if you dont know where it is. Check the map, it has a church like icon. Take the adds inside the church and tank it with the rare.
11- Right in front of the Church is your second rare. Tank him inside the house with the adds.
12- Now you should be able to kill Anub - your tank needs to pay attention to Terrifying slam. DPS needs to watch out for Dark Orb and dodge.

13 - Head to Dawnbreak - there will be an add tank it.
14 - Tank the spider - take Arathi bombs, this most people are completely forgetting. This is important you use it on the boss.
15- Rolling Acid debuff on player - watch which side it is and then move.
16- Here the boss will fly away now.

17 - Make sure to eat the yellow balls when you fly with him. Do not use speed boost and overwhelm yourself, you should be ok just following him
18- nuke him down.

Do this once or twice it becomes really easy after.

The road to 2nd boss needs work. Personally old school flying would be better here to coordinate proper landing. Waypoints are gonna be key. Too easy to pull so much here. This for keys is gonna be even more important.

Final boss we had people stay Center. Easier to move right with poison and everyone else go left type of thing. Finally it’s a race thru yellow balls to boss. I’ve seen some skip and go more direct .

Overall this is helpful. Overall it’s not a bad dungeon. Kinda fun to learn new tings lol.

Darkness I’m still confused tho lol.

People have been complaining loudly about how janky skyriding is in Dawnbreaker all through Beta. The fact it came out anyway is hilarious.
