Simming CSHB

I’m attempting to make the swap to CSHB from 3x RF. Right now my azerite supports 1 RF, 2 CSHB, 1 SR, 1 UF, 1PB and unfortunately no OP on third ring.

When I run my sim on raidbots it will show the RF dot but the gushing wounds dot is no where to be found on the report. This makes it hard to figure out the correct amount of haste to run. When I run 3x RF I have 17% crit, 27% haste 35% mast. With my current build I could go so far as 29% crit, 12% haste and 37% mastery.

Tips?

Edit: I found the dot on there its just all simming lower still

So you’re actually getting into weeds of simmery more than I do, but I can at least contribute a bit on helping with the right amount of haste. Archi did make a statement in skyhold about there being a haste breakpoint for fury around the 22.5% mark. My gear has been floating around there for awhile, and I’ve noticed as pieces change out the value of haste seems to be consistent with that, and sims generally tend to want me to stack haste to get there, at which point its value drops off. Maybe this will help you.

My CSHB pieces are pretty butt outside of the fact they have CSHB so I guess this is what I’m doing for now. I need stuff that has that and overwhelming power which so far is nowhere to be seen :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m still convinced they sneak nerfed cshb. It used to do roughly 17% dps in m+ but after the patch it’s never gotten over 13%. Plus the rng seems really low, like there’s some kind of icd or something.

That’d be really easy (albeit maybe tedious to get two BT crits in a row) to check by getting two BTs in a row and watching the debuff refresh or not.

I don’t know, i went ahead and tried it anyway running in m+ with 23% crit and 21% haste and it didn’t seem to proc as often as I would’ve liked. My trash damage did go up some but it was soooo much worse on bosses.

There is a 1% crit tax for each level an enemy is higher than you. So for bosses in a Mythic +, you lose 2% crit when fighting them. It may not seem like much, but it does make an impact overtime.

A few things.

Use Top Gear, not quick sim.
put ` before and after a link.

Triple CsHb vs triple RF isn’t a simple good or bad answer, and both are good. In m+, you’d favour more towards CsHb, but not to a totalitarian degree.

They did not.
