Are you ready for an adventure thru Bastion? Then this is for you.
This is old news but I only just completed it today. When you hit lvl 60 there are crystals scattered around Bastion that become visible.
This reminded me a lot of WoD and running around collecting all the treasures thru-out the zones. So the same deal applies here. Most can be walked up to and clicked. Others can be harder and requires using a glider to get to. Some are super annoying and you need to be just the right distance to jump across. On foot or while mounted.
There are 50 shards all up. 45 are hidden around the zone and 5 are inside the two dungeons. 2 inside The Necrotic Wake and 3 inside Spires of Ascension.
When you collect all 50 shards you’ll get an achieve as well which is nice. And also helpful to know that you’ve collected them all.

This will be easier to do once flying is unlocked.

Yep. Won’t be a challenge at all when flying comes along. Same happened with the treasures in WoD.
That’s why you should do it now.

Funny enough is the featherlings (pet stewards) will also mount up on a larion.

Got this mount weeks back using my druid…only issue I had was with one where I couldn’t land on top of a pillar so I hire a Warlock to put up a Lock Gate to get to it…very easy to do on a Druid were you can sneak in esp that ones in the elite area.

except you needed a 100 treasures to unlock flying.

there were way more than 100 treasures to get
flight made it easier to get to the tricky ones

Wasn’t there another mount where you had to go click like a crazy number of objects and it was timed or something in Legion? Sounded painful because players were camping I think.
Is this one easier? Do the crystals disappear after someone clicks them?

Agreed, I looked at the achievement, where the crystals were, and decided I’d get the mount when Flying was in the game.
Same thing for the pet boxes on top of all the mushrooms in Maldraxxus.

Congratulations on the mount!
I’m not good at jumping, and I was about to quit to wait for flying a couple of times while doing this myself. Then, magic happened. 
I got mine a few months ago! 
They only disappear once you click on them…other players can see them after you click on them…

It’s not a challenge NOW if you’re a warlock (gateway) or a demon hunter (fly with no cooldown)
For the new one or the old one or both?
LOL I hired a Warlock for a Lock gate on my Druid when I did these…there was one pillar I just couldn’t angle right landing to it…
