Silver moon rep

So, I used my free character boost to make a BE pally so I could work towards unlocking the horde allied races, since the heritage armor is tied to rep what’s the best way to go about getting exalted with silver moon if I boosted a toon to 110?

Buy the tabard from the Quartermaster and wear that in dungeons.

Specifically Outland and Northrend dungeons. I like Halls of Lightning but I’ve heard Botanica is good for rep farming, too.

Tabard + Botanica (Normal). If you’re at least midway thru Friendly with the faction, 10x runs will get you exalted.

Each run should take no more than 5min, start to finish. Exit portal conveniently located behind the final boss.

Be sure to kill everything. And unless you’re really hard up for gold, skip looting. All the drops will be mailed to you anyway, sell those.

Just run the same Outland or Northrend dungeon over and over… Pick one with the most mobs and bosses. Run it 10 times an hour. You’ll usually be exalted in 6-8 hours.

I was under the impression that Boosted Characters can’t earn heritage armor, but they can use it if another non-boosted character earns it.

That only applies to Allied Races. The Blood Elf and Dwarf Heritage armor only requires Max Level and Exalted with their home city.

Are you sure? I can’t find a Blue post on this, and it seems to me like we could do with some clarification. I’ve been afraid of using my free boost because I don’t want to blow up one of my heritage armor stuff for a non-allied race.

Tabard and get started running some lowbie dungeons

Look up Heritage armor on wow.gamepedia.
Apparently that website isn’t a trusted site so can’t link it without TL3.

This is better than mechanar because mech is really good for this

Thanks! Well that makes me breath a sigh of relief…

It is in one of the Blizzcon interviews. Blizzard doesn’t post those on their own site. I don’t have time to track it down at the moment.

The only requirement for the regular races heritage armor is max level and their city’s rep at exalted.

Tabard and crush all the older dungeons. God I miss that way of farming rep.

During Timewalking weeks, at max level you can put on the tabard and farm the rep from running physically to the dungeons and doing trash farming runs on Heroic mode.

This is how I got my orc to Exalted with most of the Vanilla Horde reps (I thought he already was, but I guess I wasn’t looking at the right toon). Just spam-clearing BC heroics for a few hours.

I’ll put this in my pocket for a later date.

Grab a Silvermoon tabard from the quartermaster and just run TBC dungeons. Get Exalted in a couple hours if that.

Tabard + Mechanar + Darkmoon Faire Rep + Hour and 1/2 = Exalted

I just ran my DH though LK ICC dungeons with the Silvermoon Tabard. If a battered hilt would’ve dropped be a nice bonus.
