He doesn’t have the night elf voice lines, so I wasn’t counting him. I was only counting the ones with night elf voice lines so I could say “even not all of those are Alliance” with no possible “it’s a blue eyed blood elf” dodge in response.
No you didn’t. What I said was the true meaning of history - I even provided references, and background information which further disproved yours, and justified my own. Yours was just a load of crap.
For me it would be. I like her void form better. I would like some more non-tentacled hairstyles and/or a toggle for them and a couple of hair colors. I’m not talking about Blood Elf hair colors or styles either. Color wise, I’d just like a bit more variety like black and a magenta-red. For styles, less widow peak and greasy mop.
My most wanted ARs alliance side were High Elves and Wildhammer Dwarves. Let’s face the fact that we got those via customization and will not be getting them as stand alone ARs. If you want to ask for more customization, go for it. I will support you. Stop asking to add another elf race.
P.S. the last part was to the topic in general, not Somand.
Blood elves were high elves , but not anymore, because of addiction to fel magic. Same as void elves - they are not blood elves anymore because they use void magic.
Elves are most played races in game…so why not have second most popular elven race Silver covenant high elves ?
Because you already have 4 flavors of elf to choose from. Annnddd with one of them you can already choose peachy flesh tone and throw on a Silver Covenant tabard.
Amazon UK posted several preview pages from Exploring Azeroth: The Eastern Kingdoms, an upcoming book by Christie Golden. There is one page up that states that “In the end, with their addiction to first arcane magic and then fel energy, and the horrors brought to their doorstep and beyond by Arthas Menethil and the Scourge, the blood elves demonstrated great courage, determination, and strength.”
That book is written in-universe by an Alliance aligned human who also claims blood elves are called blood elves due to the Alliance despite literally every other source including Chronicle stating that not to be the case.
I agree with OP but at this point it’s too late. We got Void Elves already. At this point there is no way they’d give Alliance two Elfish allied races, even though the Silver Covenant has a much stronger lore presence than the handful of elves that went all voidy and then vanished from the lore since Legion.
Regardless it isn’t something night elves had anything resembling before.
Waste of dev time. Anything they put into updating an NPC could go into new customization options instead. Especially if it’s only some weak attempt to quiet people in the forums.
They didn’t strictly need to, as the High Elf Wayfarers and Silvermoon Scholars were already there, with nothing detailing what happens when they complete their training.
Yeah. I have always liked them since TBC but really got into them in Cata because of Twilight Highlands. I love those villages and Grim Batol. Would have been cool to go through a recruitment quest chain in that area.
This. These ‘pilgrims’ make it clear in my mind that other Thalassian Elves are joining the Ren’dorei and it is not just made up of those who suffered the partial transformation by Nether Prince Durzaan.
