Seems silly to me to give a 5 minute cooldown to something that has a 10 minute CD to whatever it’s applied to.
Anyone know the logic for this?

If you die, you lose sated.
I wish.
But no you don’t.
You lose sated when you kill a raid boss.
And the skill is also reset so still does not add up
Assume you might pop Heroism on the last boss of one run and very quickly pop a queue into another. Even if you can’t benefit from Hero at that time, the rest of your party can, allowing you to pop it on bosses 1, 3, etc., as is more standard, despite your previous run having gone long or irregularly.
It used to have a 10 min cooldown. It was changed because 10 minutes was too long between raid bosses so it wouldn’t be available every boss. So they lowered the cooldown so you could have it when you wiped (reset sated).
Then they just overall changed it so raid cooldown reset on boss kills. It was never changed in response to the new raiding properties of cooldown resets.
my guess is for those that lost out on BL effect when it was actually used so now there are multiple different debuff timers?
when on my mage often i get into groups say for World bosses they already popped BL before i entered the group so i pop my own and very few end up getting the buff from my popping it.
also wasn’t there some sort of legendary or something idk if in SL or what but it allowed us to pop 2 BL back to back in a single fight before we actually got the debuff. i think it was in Legion or bfa? and tied to mages? often i’d yell at people to POP BL!!! they’d shout back at me not knowing i had the ability so basically i could push more dps but if they actually timed it right. outside of the timing issue though it was mediocre but still helpful.
