So i have a bank guild on an alt that I use to level alts and to hold all my old profession mats. The “GM” alt is an alliance toon. If I wanted to make a horde alt to level for heritage armor, would i still be able to add it to the guild? I wasnt sure if id be able to find it through the guild finder.
I know its a weird question but i know when i recruit for my current guild, if they are cross faction I have to add them on Bnet first.
There is a convoluted way to get your own alts added cross faction, but no, you can’t use guild finder for reasons beyond comprehension.

There is a way to do it. I did it. I believe there’s a sequence of events you need to follow by using a cross faction comm. Someone here should have a link to the process.

I had a feeling it was going to be a process. I wonder if it would be easier to have my husband throw an alt in there and then invite my horde alt haha
It’s not too complicated. It’s just annoying. Basically you’re making a cross faction comm on your GM toon, link the guild invite in its text history, have your opposing faction alts apply to the comm, accept them, have them click the link in the comm chat history and then accepting the application on your GM toon.

Yes the ultra easy way is just have someone invite.
Thats the easy way. Just have someone invite. But for a solo guild there is a bit of a process.
Here is a video link
