There is a huge botting issue going on in Silithus. Essentially, the sand quest awards a few hundred honor and can be done unlimited amounts of time in a day.
Bots are picking up the sand and delivering it to someone who deposits. All day, 24/7. People are rank 14 with only a few thousand HKs.
I know ranking is over soon, but this is just absurd.
Remove the honor reward from this quest or limit it to 1 per day or something. Fix the bots!
Blizzard needs to stop the sand for ranking thing. Why they are still allowing it with their PVP upgrade, as of right now anyway, is crazy to me.
I have a feeling that making changes to the quest reward could have unintentional consequences.
I think a daily cap is reasonable, it’s hot and sandy out there, just let the faction officer only accept 5 turn ins each day per player or something before he tells you to take a rest.
Completely agree. 5 cap is fine.
You can sit there and watch ppl have 10-15 bots delivering them sand all day. Millions of honor per week botting a 200 honor quest. So dumb.
Pvp solution. Kill the bots
The bots have automated corpse walk back and dont sleep or need food.
Pvp them harder. You claim it’s bots prove it

It’s no different than GDKPs. If you can tolerate gold in exchange for BoP Raid Gear, you will tolerate gold in exchange for BoP Ranking Gear.
Either get rid of GDKPs or keep the world PvP objectives as-is.
