There’s no way to farm grateful offerings. Do callings, which is one a day. Do a few dailies. That’s it.
And most soulshapes don’t even come from Grateful Offerings. So I’m not sure why this was the breaking point for you.

And hey, here’s a “OMG, I got what I wanted but it’s TOO late so I’m quitting” post.
Ya’ll are WAY too triggered. Play the game you were given. Enjoy it. Or don’t! If you just want to hear the sound of your own voice complaining… Complain about REAL issues such as mechanics that aren’t working correctly or graphic glitches or quests that are broken.

I happen to agree with op here. Blizzard should stop adding things we want because it’ll just be too little too late. If Blizzard really cared about this game they’d stop updating it.

If i understand your post you quit before the soulshape so in fact the soulshape isnt the reason you quit.

Just to recap, you determined to quit wow because they weren’t adding the soulshape you wanted. You knew ahead of time that soulshapes would go away in 10.0 (we in fact don’t know that but I would say it is the smart bet) so either they would never give you silithid soul shape and you would quit, or they would give it and then take it away and then you would quit, or MAYBE? they’ll give it to you now and WON’T take it away (we don’t know) but you already quit?
