They are still a business with us being the customers. I fully expect for them taking responsibility for making mistakes and improving the quality of the game.
Not everyone is “you” and has the time, motivation or concentration to do such long tasks. Time changes and so needs the game. Try to see it from this way: People want to stay and play the game while getting something out of it while having an actual life. It doesn’t matter how good or bad they are, they are still paying customers.
If you need to prepare so much for a raid by reading guides, watching videos while also making room for 4-7 hours (let’s be real here) while also being on a constant pressure to be kicked if you don’t know what you do, then this is a game design flaw.
We all know how much Ion Hazzikostas want everyone to enjoy the thrill and sense of adventure raids should provide but there is one thing he doesn’t realize: Not everyone lives his life and can spend so much time on something which he thinks is the main feature of World of Warcraft. It’s a game world which lacks everything but raiding under his management.
