Ok so I have a super super simple request to make of you, Blizz. I want preferably all, but at least one, turban-looking headgear item (not one with feathers please) to be changed from cloth armor class to cosmetic where all 4 armor classes can transmog it as a headpiece.
As a Sikh in America, there is a lot of stigma and prejudice against my faith’s wearing of turbans due to Islamophobia and ignorance. While I do not feel comfortable wearing a dastaar (turban) in public in real life, I would cherish the opportunity to proudly and openly do so in game as I slowly warm up to it in real life. It would be perfect for representation and transmog in general, as it will better support the representation of the Draenei culture in particular and thereby the real life Punjabi Sikh culture on which they are based.
This is a very simple and easy request to deliver on as all I can imagine it would really require is to change one or more of the turban items in the game files from their cloth armor class to a cosmetic one like all the garrison armors from WoD and Alaina’s Bonnet as a couple examples. I really hope someone gets to see this and can pass it along to the right person to make this happen. Sat Sri Akal!

I’m so sorry, this is awful. In Australia there is a very strong Sikh community, and the men wear their turbans. I even follow (on Social Media) a fabulous Aussie Sikh who talks about his Faith, his community, and shows how to wrap that amazing turban.
Inclusion, acceptance and respect for all should just be a given.
I hope there’s representation for all in WoW, this game is certainly big enough to encompass that.

One day hope they lift all armor restriction when it comes to transmog appearances. ESO is great on this, you can be wearing all plate while make it look like a combination of cloth, leather, and plate pieces with color dyes so you’re not looking for matching pieces to make it work.

No, That is a full head wrap with a face mask. Something like the wizard weave turban item, although preferably some models and colors with jewel, chain, or feather adornments…just a simple turban
Ahh, okay. It is a bit more of a hijab like regalia. I know plain turbans exist without the adornments, but I take it you mean new turban additions with higher resolution textures.
Preferably for sure, but not necessarily required. The ones with feathers and jewels would still be better than none at all, but ones without the excessive adornments would still eb preferred for sure.
