The icon on the map disappears, then comes back, then is gone again… the timings for the event change all the time, the NPCs come and goes and it never starts when it says it would.
It’s been like this for days

I’d like to complete this quest. Fix this, Blizz.
Reputation is capped at 3000 and I can’t earn more until this is fixed!
The marker is useless but the event still happens normally so there is no reason to be stuck. It goes every two hours on the hour. You can see the status on the Wowhead front page, or if you don’t want to look there for some reason, just turn up at the right place just before the top of the hour and if there are people there great, wait for it to start, and if there is nobody there then come back an hour later.

As Minidecay says it runs every 2 hours. My experience is 2pm 4pm 6pm 8pm etc Eastern
This is happening to me right now, which is really bugging me since the weekly needs me to complete it… The horn on the map just keeps appearing and disappearing. Can we please at least get an answer saying “we know, deal with it”?

The only Blizzard employees that read the Bug Reports forum are QA, and they only read it to pick out legitimate bug reports and put them into the developers’ job jar.
It’s one way. You report, QA forwards, devs eventually fix. There’s no conversation, no reassurances, no promises.
If you want to try to get a response, try the developers’ Twitter.
I had this same issue. The icon will appear on your map but once you enter the zone it will disappear. What I did to fix it was getting to renown lvl 8 with the The Valdrakken Accord. After doing a few quests it is working properly now.
Yes becaise we all want to go to an external site to be able to do this its just bad design .
