Since listening to player feedback seems to be back on the menu, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, add a skip to SoO.
I thought Dragon Soul full clears were bad, but SoO just blows it right out of the water. So much unskippable roleplay, long walks and 13 bosses just to reach Garrosh for a mount/shoulders that probably won’t even drop.
Please, Blizzard, as an avid enthusiast for farming mounts, pets and transmog, I beg you: Add a skip to SoO that lets us get closer to Garrosh. It is unbearably tedious having to spend at least 30 min on my absolute fastest character everytime just to get to the last boss.
I assume this should be feasable, considering that you have frequently tended to past content, adding nice little QOL improvements (let alone having unlockable skips to certain stages of a raid as the status quo of design nowadays).
SoO has to be the longest old raid in WoW. And there are bugs too, so if you get caught up in one of those, good luck not just hearthing out. If they opened up mounting it would help. You can mount in AQ and it’s underground, what’s the difference?
I don’t see how a skip quest can’t be retroactively added to every long raid that has something that only the final boss drops in terms of like mounts/tusks etc. Just have Chromie open a portal to the final boss.
Just make it a quality of life thing to any raid at least two expansions old. Bingo bango you did it.
Can only second that. At a point where it boils down to either being lucky to get what you seek within a few kills or the bare amount of kills you can amass to brute force your “luck” with no regard to difficulty or challenge, a skip would be very much long due.
