Not remix siege but live siege

They removed the ability to solo Galakras. There might have been other changes too but that’s the main one I’m aware of.

If you are indeed talking about live SoO rather than the remix, perhaps put it in big friendly letters on your post title, so there is no confusion.

All the changes that were made to remix were made to the live servers also. Possibly because they share the same servers and are just scaled differently.
OK, well I havent done either (or at least not done live since MoP was live) so when the OP mentioned the post was about the Live version I responded to that. 
Yeah, that is the only difference I noticed.
Dumb question though, is that bit skip-able? What would happen if you just ran to the next boss w/o stopping to clear the cannons, towers, etc?
The Kor’kron snipers on the hill behind the boss will take you out. Can’t be skipped unfortunately

I doubt they removed it so much as accidently broke it on retail with the remix.

Oh wow, I never even knew about that.
It is not skippable. If you try to run onward without killing Galakras, the rocks you have to run through to get to Iron Juggernaut are covered with snipers that will 1-shot you (even at max level).
The scroll that lets you skip to Garrosh from the entrance was also disabled. So you will be stuck at Galakras unless you bring a friend to operate the second cannon.

No, that still works, but if you drop off the ledge after Immerseus you can’t go back to it.
So you have to either do the first four(?) bosses or the last one. Anything in between is locked out until they fix this - most likely after Remix ends.
Actually, it doesn’t. The scroll is there and you can click on it, but it doesn’t offer the Garrosh skip (talking about live here, not remix). Friend and I tested it last week. He used it prior to 10.2.7, but the skip is no longer available.
I used it like two weeks ago, so it was working then.
Maybe it doesn’t function with two people in the instance or something?
Doesn’t function at all. He and I tried it last week both individually and in a group.
You can click the scroll and text comes up, but there is no Garrosh skip. And yes the toon I was on has soloed SOO many times in the past.
Well, it is the “WOW” General Discussions. so one would assume it is obvious OP was discussing the real SoO in actual, literal WOW, NOT the whatever is going on in the silly side-hustle FOMO distraction that is ruining the game we pay for.
