The horn will be there then disappears. The timers say the siege started but nothing has started. What’s the magic with this stupid thing? I’ve been trying to do it since the start.

Wowhead has a timer on its front page. We shouldn’t have to go to a site for a timer that doesn’t go away but ya know how it is. As for the siege its self, if you’re not there at the very start odds are its already over. It might say its a hour but the actual event takes like 10min tops.

If you arent there waiting with the group of people before it starts, you are going to miss it.

I’m having this issue all week. Icon for the event will be there UNTIL I enter the Waking Shores area. I will confirm with Wowhead the event should start and I’ll be in the correct area, but no NPC is there, no event, etc…
Any assistance would be appreciated.

You need to be there when it starts because it’s going to be over in 5 minutes. So even though the event says it’s still in progress on the map or even on sites like Wowhead it really isn’t.
It’s up every two hours. Either set your own timer or check the front page of Wowhead and head over to where the forces are gathering before it begins.

I’m doing all that, sitting in the correct area when it starts, and nothing is happening. No NPC or anything.
I’m getting there before it starts in the correct coordinates so it’s not the event getting done before I get there. At least, that’s my theory.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but this is the first week I’ve had trouble with it.

I’ve never had a problem with the keep event, it starts right on time every two hours. I’m on est so that is ever even numbered hour on my watch. For whatever reason it always actually starts 2 minutes past the hour on the servers clock.

Do you see Beef (the big Toad) and the NPC’s? You should also usually see some players waiting as it gets close to starting. If neither is true you’re either in the wrong area or it already ended.
In the above image the event has about 20 minutes to start.

I’m going to that area using past experience and wowhead coordinates minutes before the in game icon and wowhead say the event starts. No NPCs or people.

I don’t know what to say then. Ive never had an issue. If I get there before the event I always see the NPC’s and Beef.
The next one is starting at 2 EST. I just flew over to the starting spot and all the NPC’s and Beef are chiling. Go there now.

Something that just should be up nonstop timers are dumb going to wowhead dumb there tooltip still saying active whatever minutes left silly. They take minutes to finish we’ll start it again maybe?

I have this issue on one of my alts but I can see the NPCs and everything on every other character. The instant I swap over to my DH the NPCs and everything disappear. Really sucks because I’m stuck on the Aiding the Accord quest that requires Dragonsbane Keep.

I now have this issue with every character on my account, even those that have done the event before. I haven’t been able to complete the weekly quest as a result.
