So I’ve been sitting here for over an hour now waiting for the event to start, just to complete the weekly. Is this really what the game has devolved into? I can assume that most people just don’t even bother doing it at all at this point. Of all the degenerate things that I’ve come across in the entire history of wow, this is easily top two of all time.

Get the event timer tracker on your Weakaura addon- its great.

Wowhead and another site tracks this and the grand feast timers, just log in when it’s about to start and you’re GTG.

The horn isn’t always there. My alt couldn’t see the horn at all even when it was about to start and she was waiting with everyone else.

Imagine adding timers on everything it’s almost as bad as guilds telling you that you will log in at a certain time to raid. I love blizz’s lil tooltips to on the maps hey the siege is active 50 mins or whatever left yet it’s done. Fine work there. Going outside of the game for everything is a great feature of wow.

It happens like 12 times a day, 7 days a week. If you can’t manage to find one of them, the problem is not with the quest.

I just abandoned it. Never seems to be up when I am online, or in the zone. Tired of seeing it in my quest log.
When the feast or siege is required for the weekly wrapper quest, I only do it if I happen to be on when the event is up. If not and I am done with game time, I log out and go on about my day. I do not wait, I have the weak aura timer trackers but if my play time does not coincide with Blizz’s nonsense, I am not going to wait around. Their transparent attempt to keep people logged in is pathetic. The feast one is the worst with its 3 hour timer, with alts trying to do the wrapper quest it is just painful.
Don’t forget to feed Beef.

You literally just have to do it once in an entire week and the whole event takes 5 minutes and you can be entirely AFK while it happens.

They would announce it if you were in val to begin with so when you get there there isn’t that much of a wait .
The most “fun” thing about it is that I can afk on the keep and play something else while getting completion.

If it’s before an hour mark it will be active afterwords you either make it or not.
