I honestly love the addition of the Sidereal system, it definitely helps. But I would love to see each HM boss in like Ulduar 10/25 drop 1 sidereal each or something. 1 Sidereal per dungeon honestly just sucks, even if it is just for an alt.

Its a lousy system that rewards participation rather than meritocracy, those are hm rewards and making them vendor items just devalues the accomplishments of those that took months to aquire through intended routes. Pretty sad tbh when a fresh boosted toon can in two weeks running dungeons can get the same gear that took me 4 months of raiding.

disagree, it’s a system that allows you to continue progressing your character after you’ve cleared all your raids for the week. Your “meritocracy” is still highly rng based we finished phase 2 with several people still needing the mjolnir runestone because it just didn’t drop and in this phase interest in clearing ulduar 10 has fallen off a cliff. sorry if you’re butt hurt about other people’s gear.

So weird to see people so obsessed over the gear. Nowadays I’m the type that does content a few times and I’m mentally satisfied cuz I saw the content and nothing is really going to change from week to week except boss dies faster.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a version of the game where people are always gear capped and the reward is knowing we defeated an encounter tuned around that.
Lol, just laid out my opinion, the bought toons are very easy to spot in a raid, now exclusive items are vendor so it no longer is a badge of accomplishment and lost all attachment to the hardmode achievment. Meh you litterally have to drag me to a wrath dungeon, I run six raid lockouts avg a lockout on just one toon, and It really sucks when the one pug warlock in 5100gs boe and emblem gear is clueless how to play and has no clue how to raid or even do anything besides tunnel dps on boss and barely top 5kdps. Becomes very clear, very fast he was boosted and pays to play. Time start achievment gating I guess.
Can’t imagine being someone who devalues their own achievements because someone else got something cool as well. Should stop letting your own play be ruined by the independent accomplishments of others.
RNG is such a merit based way to get gear for sure, not at all about chance of dropping.

Not at all what I said, the item no longer has any attachment to the achievment and is now vendor loot whereas before it was exclusive hm reward. Dont give me bs about it never drops crap, we can see your achievments and whether youve even cleared a hardmode. Rng is a strawman argument at best. Dont go virtue signaling about helping gear the lowbies cause your gonna fall very short in comparison to the efforts i go through weekly, ranging from legacy raiding to phase 1, 2, and 3 weekly raids, we dont just gear we mentor and train. I dump 1000s of personal gold earned ingame weekly on just maintaing our raids and guild activities.
Uh what? Since I was unfortunate of never seeing a Caress, I did 22 weeks of Uld 10. We were bringing in peoples 3rd, 4th, 5th alts just swooping up all the HM gear.
10M Uld has been a joke for two months now. Nothing prestigious about the loot that comes from there. It would actually make people run more 10m if sidereal dropped from Uld 10.
