I hate the way robes/dresses cut into mounts! It looks so bad!

Idk, they just fixed gryphons run animations and they look pretty good

Just saying if they can change a movement animation and make it look good, changing a static sitting animation shouldn’t be a problem

Please see the bee mount sitting position, the new clipping through the bad talbuk run animation and gnomes hovering above some mounts as proof that they fail at our sitting positions.

Some mounts makes it look as if out character it’s a mannequin devoid of life that just sways back and forth.
I too would like robes not to cut through mounts, but I think things like rigor mortis kicking in with some mounts and with races that aren’t Forsaken should come first.

Mostly because getting the animations right would be nearly impossible.
They haven’t even attempted to get the animations right for the Mount Special the Coursers have.
When you’re on a horse that rears up on its hind legs, your torso stays perpendicular to the ground. If it did what the current character animations do at that moment, (perpendicular to the animals back), you’d fall off the animal due to gravity, no matter if your feet are in stirrups or not.
That’s an easy fix compared to getting side-saddle animations even close to looking anything less than laughable and ridiculous. (It’s also a very hard skill to refine due to the nature of the leg hooks on the side-saddle itself, adjusting your center of gravity, and having really good balancing skills. Bareback is easier.)

I’d rather they just replaced the robe model outright. Yes, all of them.
It is SO bad, it’d be more convincing if we wore a giant, cardboard toilet paper tube around our legs.
