Every time i get on the fourms it’s mostly people whining about something. Can we talk about the things blizzard has done right? Maybe build then up instead of tearing them down. The graphics and attention to detail this expansion are amazing. I haven’t played horde this expansion so i can’t speak for them, but the alliance quest are really good. Drustfar is by far the best questing experience I’ve ever had in this game. What are some things you like?
I like saying mean things about others, jerk.
Do like the style of Boralus. Apart from missing an Auction House, it’s a fun place to hang out. Wouldn’t mind seeing some of the older cities revisited with a bit of life, personally.
I mean, you’re advocating against negativity, but you made a post title “sick of the negativity”? Isn’t that itself negativity?
I like when people think that forums should be used for positivity. Always make me laugh. It’s like feedback is mostly given from people unsatisfied with the game. People that like to play the game don’t go on the forums.
This is what the forums are made for to make your complaints/requests known. Most of the people that play don’t even use the forums. So, it is really only the vocal few anyway.
I like that I’m finally free of my addiction to this game. Sorta. Not really. I’m kind of heartbroken over it, but trying to put it in a good light.
I liked all the stuff to do with Bwonsamdi, that was a cool storyline. I like the art. The allied races are neat, and unlocking them was fun. (wish they had their own developed starting areas & story to add to their race-fantasy, but whatever).
I like all the potential that BFA had but didn’t quite deliver.
I like the xmog sets from warfronts.
I liked the raids, what I saw of them from LFR after my friends all quit.
I liked the challenge of making enough gold for my Might Caravan Brutosaur towards the end of the last expansion and felt proud that I did it without resorting to a single wowtoken.
The music in Nazmir really really works for me.
Demonology is actually in a really good space right now, and is fun to play.
But it’s not enough to make up for a heavy hard hitting string of badly considered changes, or some of the design flaws that have pushed me so far past the breaking point that I’m now resentful and bitter, and have absolutely no faith in Blizzard’s ability to get this game back on track.
So, well, I tried to be mostly positive. That’s about all I can muster.
The monk class is amazing right now, azerite traits synergize really well, mogs are amazing, the zones are nice. What kills BFA PvP wise is this stupid shield meta. Stack shields and you can’t die. In the meta, always use a tank trinket, always use a polearm, always use the legs. COS besides being the worst raid in existence produced the most broken items since rogue legendaries.
Well, maybe if they focused on things in the game that are actually important instead of ruining fun. Like nerfing the water strider, removing portals, nerfing toys, and the latest (which is something I never knew was a thing) nerfing twink leveling. We find creative ways to play the game, and because it’s not the way Blizzard wants us to play, they have to slam the nerf hammer down. So maybe there would be less complaining if they stopped “fixing” things that don’t need it and worry about things that are actually important.
What would GD be without negativity that’s why those who like the game aren’t here they are having fun not listening to the minority.
Build them up? Build a multi-million dollar business up? They are big boys and girls, they should be capable of building themselves up by designing a good game. Maybe it’s time this team started looking at some of the stuff the old Blizzard did that made the game successful instead of thinking they know what’s best when clearly they’re failing.
Gee golly gee, let me give you some positive optimism ol’ chum!
BFA is so great! I just love how dull all the classes are relative to Legion! Don’t even get me started on the GCD! It just makes combat flow so much better to have a pointless delay on all my GCDS!
I especially love azerite, it’s such a well thought out system and whoever came up with it certainly has his priorities straight!
A level squish would solve all of the issues with leveling in this game, and certainly wouldn’t just annoy everyone because it would solve nothing!
Lalala! I’m so POSITIVE YOU GUYS!
There’s only so much we can say about the good parts while the bad parts are like a festering wound that can’t be ignored.
You hear that … … … … that is the sound of crickets.
Thankfully we’ll just stuff the festering wound full of welfare gear though, that’ll fix it, right?
That’s not true, they copied a fifteen year old version of their game and most people like it more than their poorly thought out, predatory, dull, bare-boned excuse for an expansion pack.
They did that one thing right!
The LON bonus in Diablo 3’s S17 is quite neat. Made me want to go build a monk using no set items whatsoever, and that’s a lot of fun.
People that don’t care at all usually don’t ever post.
“Negativity” is a form of feedback, that means the players who actually put their thoughts and feelings on each post, do care about the state of the game, of course you’ll always run into some random dude who just wants the game to fail. The whole reason why people complain, is to make sure our concerns are heard, so actions are taken before things go from bad to worse.
It’s on Blizzard’s end to do something meaningful with the feedback, if they ignore us, then we’ll have to repeat ourselves until they do hear. You can’t pretend nothing is wrong with the current state of BfA when an old version of the same game has better reception than retail right now.
Someone is having a really bad day.
Boredom is a powerful thing.
