Harika the Horrid, in Revendreth. Up, but Untargettable. The Ballista’s broken. Wingsmash is standing by the edge with no dialogue. There’s no option to repair it.
It’s been like this for THREE DAYS. What in the hell is going on?

Harika has had enough apparently. Destroyed the ballista pre emptively and just floats around out of reach to taunt us.
It’s not bugged, you have to do a few things to repair the ballista and find the bolt.

That would be great if the NPCs to repair the thing offered the dialogue to do so. That’s the problem. The option to repair the thing is missing.

You only get the dialogue once you pick up the items.
The ballista bolt is just up the hill by the ruins, I can’t quite remember where the parts are though since I never did the repair.

That brings up back to the problem again, because the tools don’t spawn.

Everything I’ve read also says this is bugged. And has been bugged for days. My girlfriend and I went all over that area and found none of the tools, nor dialogue options to do anything.

I killed it yesterday and this morning. So, no, it’s not bugged.

There are some phases where it’s not bugged. But there are a great many where it is.

You are seriously going to sit there and tell me that the early part of the encounter is bugged, but people somehow skipped the bugged phase and got the kill regardless? Does that even make the tiniest bit of sense?

Everywhere I look online says that since launch, NOBODY has had to do the repair. They show up, and Wingsmash is just ready to take the Ballista Bolt.
Right now, he’s not ready, and there are no tools spawning anywhere to repair the damn thing.
Yesterday, I briefly saw a phase where he WAS ready, and was gathering friends to kill it for a chance at the mount, but made the mistake of accepting someone ELSE inviting me to group, thus moving me to a different phase where he was not ready, and there were no tools around to try to fix it.

It was bugged. I experienced that bug myself when I got that anima point. It was fixed for me on another shard I guess. Wingsmash is supposed to be by the waterfall. If he’s by the edge of the map and uninteractable it’s a bug. I suggest you try going to another shard OP.

I don’t feel it’s bugged either. I do think quite a few of the world quests aren’t very clear on how to complete the objectives in game and Wowhead hasn’t caught up.
We DO know how to do this one. People have been doing it. The objects needed to do it are not spawning and the NPCs involved are bugged.
You get a ballista bolt in the town nearby. Give it to Wingsmash. Then order Wingsmash to go and put the ballista bolt in.
You didn’t even read the damn post. He’s standing near the edge of the cliff, the ballista is broken, and neither the ballista bolt nor the tools are spawning.

Don’t be rude please i’m trying to help you. Get a ballista bolt in the town nearby. Give it to Wingsmash. Then order Wingsmash to go and put the ballista bolt in. If the ballista is broke then you likely need to wait for it to respawn.
That’s what I’m saying. I have the Bolt from earlier, but there is no option to talk to Wingsmash. He is uninteractible. The Ballista is Broken, but in that case, we are supposed to be able to find tools in the town to repair it, but they are not spawning.
This is not a case of ignorance of how the event works, this is a case of the event being broken.

Tools are found inside the buildings. There is one in a corner of the big building. It is on a low respawn timer so you can sit and retrieve it.
I know where they spawn. I have been searching all of their locations for an hour. They are not spawning.
