im in full greens in high lobbies, going 1-5 or 2-6 at most and being trash talked every game? losing 50 rating per lobby when i should probably be losing 100s?
any way around this or what

Nah, outside of gearing before you play shuffle which is probably ideal because gearing through shuffle is very inefficient. I recommend 2s and 3s placements after doing some crate grouping where you basically join a raid and fly zone to zone for a few hours.

So gear another way! Not really fair to blame the system when you show up a month before season end

Alternatively use CQ from your other characters to buy the CQ boxes. Around 14-15 boxes give you a good amount of gear for a fresh alt
You don’t play a rated bracket to gear. Just a pro tip. And even it was lower rating, fully geared out chars will destroy someone in greens.

Honestly, I just started messing around with HPal in shuff. The amount of conq and honor you get is incredible. Geared so many characters sending boxes and tokens over.
Would recommend making a healer to anyone for gearing your alts.
Join a crate group in the LFG tab and half AFK conquest for a few hours before doing shuffle. Not suggesting this is how it should be but it’s the easiest way IMO.
