Steam has a nice feature for achievements in games where you can see the % of players who have also earned that achievement. This is fun to have some community sense of how many others got that same achievement.
For a game like Warcraft where the achievement system, love or hate it, is now such a big part of the experience, Blizzard should add an indicator that tells you for your region (say Americas), and maybe and/or globally, what % of players have earned any given achievement!

Speaking of achivements, is there a way to make my forum avatar have my account-wide achievement score? Like, ingame it says i’m at 17k something, but the forums I"m assuming is just for this character?

in game on that character make sure the check box for display character only achievements to others is unchecked. It may take a few logouts to update the armory.

Thank you kindly.
Uh, edit: It was already unchecked? What could this mean?
also just to note that there is a difference between the in game number and the forum. For me the game has 18405 while the forum shows 16370.
Yeah. Hmm. It was already unchecked on this character. I checked and unchecked it to be thorough. For me the Game reads 17930, Forum 8355.
Just what the game needs! More e-peen swinging.
Why can’t you people just go out and buy a Humvee?
no e-peen here just trying to help a fellow player out. I don’t care one way or the other about the number of achievements I or others have.

Actually it was someone was reproaching me me for my achivements, and that 'm nowhere near to putting in effort or having “experienced” the game. So i’d prefer if my actual achivement score was displayed so I don’t get comments like that. Or avoid presumptions even if only less frequently.

Unfortunately, no matter what you do, the forum Avatar will always only show character achievements. It was like that on the old forums too. Sucks because I actually have almost 25k and I wanna flex that epeen harder
Bleh. Well I cba doing personal achievments i’ve always played like 6 characters.
Rats.
It wouldn’t matter. You’d still only have “x” honorable kills, or “y” rating, or be missing 468 “unique” battle pets and 571 that weren’t level 25, or have 15 empty stable slots and be missing 5 different spirit beasts or 8 colors of tigers, or have not completed every dungeon and raid on every difficulty including all their meta achievements. And also have a 4700 RiO rating and 450 item level with a current cap of 420.
Until some truly no life player comes along with 100% completion on everything from Vanilla to Current players will always nitpick your achievements to try and discredit you or your opinions.
