When I did it you could just stand near Eonar and do the ship after a wave, but now I guess just stand near Eonar and kill everything that gets close. Best is BM hunter, you can barrage 360 and multishot otherwise. Idk why people bother going to the doors?
I never struggled doing solo but cool if they removed it.
Lemix is still very veeeery far away.
There’s more than enough time for everybody to beat the Raid 4 times and complete the Skip quest lol

Just tried this and you can’t ignore the ship…
Its the 2nd attempt were you can ignore it. When I did it I died within a minute or so, but after that Eonar only took like 3% damage and thats just with me running around Whirlwinding all the NPCs on my warrior main. Try again but let Eonar die the 1st time and should be much easier the 2nd time.
how did mop remix break galakrond?
In the nerfed version you just need to do one tower to take Galakras down. During MoP remix you had be in both towers firing at him at the same time to take him down. So even if you were in standard mode SoO was in Remix mode so it was impossible to solo him till Blizz fixed him a bit after remix had ended.

you still have to do the ship but eonar has a 99% damage reduction so you can do the ship and the adds barely damage her
I did it just this morning and did not touch the ship and I beat the encounter. Idk if I did something different by accident, but I never went into the ship after she got her 99% dmg reduction.

For me at least when final doom finishes casting it one shots me. So i had to do the ship still. But her having the damage reduction meant i could easily do the ship without worrying about her health while im in there. once i’m done in the ship i can just aoe down the adds sitting in front of her. Still much easier than it used to be
I didn’t touch the ship at all. I just did the adds as usual by flying to each spot.
If you’re standing in front of Eonar waiting for the adds to come, then perhaps that may be why you died? That happens in Heroic too.

Were you taking out the adds as they spawned, or just standing in front of Eonar waiting for them to come to you?
If the latter, next time try the former.
Both times i was actively pursuing the adds and not sitting in front of her

So here’s a Youtube video of someone else doing it without the ship. Notice how they didn’t waste time clearing adds. This is what I did too and I had 0 issues.
