we can’t wear the iconic ac plate because of set bonuses… maybe tweak the shoulder idea so we can engrave the plate with older set bonuses…

yes, shoulder will allow you to use an old rune, but you know it will sim better just slapping another set bonus on there…

I love how no one can read, as per the notes, its part of the rune, not changing existing armor you ninnies…

  • A new set of shoulder enchants that allows you to utilize a single extra set bonus effect drawing from those found on sets in Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj, and Zul’Gurub.

I don’t want it ont the rune… if it’s just a rune thing folks are going to just stack every set bonus they can find. I want to be able to coreforge non set pieces. Allow folks to utilize iconic pieces of gear. if it’s going to be just the rune, fight club is going to be recommending 3 set bonuses or something… I don’t want to have to stance dance, while doing the Hokey Pokey and snake weaving at the same time

I think I can translate Warrior:

  1. He does not like that 6pc core forged is back because it mandates stance dancing. That was going away with the 4pc AQ / 4pc BWL meta but is back with the shoulder enchant allowing for 6pc MC as a 3rd set bonus

  2. He wants to be able to mix and match the AQ, BWL and MC set bonuses on any piece of armor so he can wear whatever armor looks better but still get whatever set bonuses make sense

The engraving any armor with set bonuses you have unlocked is kind of an interesting idea. That’s basically what they are doing with the shoulder enchants. You theoretically should be able to enchant non-set shoulders, too.

EX Herod’s shoulders with 6pc core forged for that Orc grunt look.

I like that the weapons skill on rings does not stack with racial. otherwise we would still just be using axes as orcs with two axe rings on…

By allowing us to have to put the armor set bonus on actual armor it would let us equip the iconic stuff from AQ that we used to wear. I don’t want iconic stuff like Gauntlets of Annihilation to not even be rolled on.

Praise to the dev team. I love them giving us cool stuff, this is just an idea.
