you are correct sir all these people have no idea what they are talking about old school twinks were no where near this power lvl in any way shape or form ever and they will argue that their 15$ a month is more important then your 15$ a month and that u should just play ur press W simulator
The thing is if I intentionally took all of my twink gear off and just used the item level 60 stuff I can buy from timewalking vendors or even if I just used some random heirlooms I’d still be ridiculously powerful.
The math behind the scaling is the problem, particularly in the 70+ bracket. The sheer volume of statistic changes you go through from level 70 to 80 is absolutely insane. A single piece of gear can improve your primary statistic by over 100 from one level increase. Because of that level 79s tend to be the absolute weakest players out there.

Not a bug. It only exists as scaling is whack for Timewalking. Timewalking dungeons aren’t even all of the dungeons and once the anniversary event is over and it isn’t timewalking dungeons being available every week, it won’t even be a problem.

the que u have fury warriors queing as tanks and then blowing thru the dungeon b4 u can even vote kick them pretty sure the system wasnt intended for that
I can’t post an image but I just checked a weapon difference out to demonstrate how bad 70+ scaling is. I can buy 2H timewalking piece for my 74 monk of mine. He has the 73 version equipped. The stat difference you ask? 151 dps, 200 agility, 1,236 stamina, 65 haste, 36 mastery. Yikes. That’s just ridiculous.

I don’t think that’s anything not working as intended.
The part there that enables this is the intended functionality of low level scaling being incredibly poorly tuned, to the point where level 11 dungeon mobs need about 600% more HP, and to do about 200% more damage.
Basically, I don’t think that’s an exploit, it’s just content being so woefully undertuned that you can get away with doing that.
110% sure the tank que should be for someone playing a tank spec the entire reason for the roles…
Maybe, but mobs also need to both live long enough and do enough damage to be able to kill DPS who try to facetank them.
Otherwise, they’ll still do the same thing, just queue’d as DPS.

They just picked a target that you think is way too low.
How old school are you talking? When timewalking just came out in Warlords of Draenor I equipped my Hunter with Pandaria set bonuses, sha-touched gems, the legendary ring from Warlords of Draenor and the legendary pandaria cloak. He absolutely obliterated them. Even when they turned the set bonuses off items from BFA and Shadowlands still provided massive damage increases thanks to azerite gear, corrupted gear, essences, covenant abilities etc. And in Dragonflight set bonuses were turned on again which increased it yet again. I could definitely provide the same pace this character can.
