Should there be a no stun lock auto ability?

Do you think there should be auto ability that triggers if your getting constantly stun locked? Example: you’re guarding a cap in Arathi basin, first rogue stuns, second rogue stuns, druid mighty bash, Paladin stun. Should this be allowed? Or after you get a 2nd or 3nd stun from multiple Players you should be able to auto escape?

That doesn’t even happen anyway.
But no, there should be no auto abilities. You already have DRs. Git gud.

diminishing returns on cc:

first CC: 100% duration
2nd: 50% duration
3rd 25% duration
4th: 0% duration

reset is every 30 seconds, smart players get around this by rotating schools of CC, for example fear does not share DR with stuns.

you also want to use your longest stun first and your shortest stun last to get the max amount of cc time, although your last one is often more of a disrupter/interrupt than a cc.

Oh okay! But question, is DR counted from only the same player stuns or does it also include any new player that joins in to stun?

its from similar schools, so if someone else stuns a target, and you stun them 2nd your stun will be diminished.

I mean, if they blow their entire wad on one person, you’re sitting pretty for the rest of the immediate engagement. I really don’t see the issue.

No, it does not. You are not sitting 4 stuns in a row.

I personally feel CC’s should be divided into two categories, each with their own diminishing returns.

Incapacitate: Total loss of control of your character
Snares: Stop or slow your movement speed

Stuns are only powerful because healers are OP. As a result, DPS can get sheet-ed on.

I was in AV today, I got first cheap shot, kidney shot, cyclone, Warrior Hammerstun then death. Then I got paladin stun, tried to run away, got rooted, druid bash, monk sweep, dk choked and death lol

This is far to much meta changing for the baby glads to handle.
