Why or why not?
It’s challenge mode content, of course it should be difficult.
It should. The MT is not casual content, its entire point is to be a very difficult solo challenge. Something people really have to work for and prove their skill if they want the trophies.
If it was easy then everyone would finish it on the first day and never look at it again, going back to complaining there’s nothing to do.
Yes, but I think it needs regular and heroic modes so that people who want an extra challenge can have it and be rewarded for it.
Yes
It’s a challenge mode
As long as people are okay with the harder modes having better or more rewards.
I’m guessing people won’t be okay with that
Difficult yes. I think they are tuned around using consumables for most specs right now, else for why you can use them in there
Should be difficult for a time, then a complete joke when you overgear it
Just like the original mage tower
Or like everything in this game really
You could cure cancer and some in the WoW community would accuse you of ignoring heart disease. You can’t not do something because you’re worried WoW players might be offended. They’re going to be no matter what you do.
Should pizza have pineapple on it?
Why or why not
It should be a challenge but not one that requires you to farm old gear or consumables in order to muscle through it
Should a pineapple have a pizza on it?
Yes, it’s amazing
It should be difficult and require you to understand how your class works to get it. It shouldn’t be tuned to something like mythic raiding or be “hardcore” but it should require you to understand and know the fundamentals of your class.
It also shouldn’t require you to farm gear from older expansions because of busted item scaling. Gear from Shadowlands should be more than enough for it.
It’s timewalking content. Timewalking content should never be difficult.
Yes, but pineapple and mushrooms together are wrong, So is any type of fish on pizza.
Should of done it like they do dungeons imo. Since you can’t over gear it like you eventually could when it was current. Have a normal, heroic version/ differing modes. Normal maybe just an achievement, title, or something for completing it, while heroic gives the mogs, the rest of the candy etc. I mean aren’t the mogs just reskins of the tos raid tier anyways?
Because all content and all rewards should be accessible to all paying customers, regardless of physical ability or skill level.
That’s the entire point of timewakling, though, and always has been - an environment where older stuff from previous expansions not only works, but is often best.
Challenging for whom, though? This is the larger question at stake here for the game as a whole.
World of Warcraft is not some edge-lord, hardcore game. Look at how low participation is for even Mythic Raiding. CHALLENGING content, in this vein, is NOT what 90% and more of WoW is built on.
Having content that caters to <1% of your players is … unwise.
It doesn’t need to be one-click easy. It didn’t need to be THIS HARD, either. Therein lies the problem with what Blizzard USED to be absolute masters of: BALANCE.
Now, they can’t even be bothered to test and listen to constructive feedback. It’s just throw it on live, tweak it later.
If it was a PHYSICAL PRODUCT, they would have been sued for liability for delivering an unfinished product to market. But because it’s DIGITAL and it can just be patched later, no one is supposed to care. pfft.
No one questions that it should be difficult. The degree is the issue.
