I mean, it makes sense thematically, doesn’t it? Forcibly dispelling an enraged state with chi/zen energy sounds like something a Monk would be able to do. Something like Pacify or whatever?
pac·i·fy

1. quell the anger, agitation, or excitement of.
I don’t know, the idea was just floating around in my head and I’m bored.

I think it’s an interesting idea thematically but I’m not sure how impactful it would really be with hunters and druids already dispelling enrage. It might just exist as a fluff button that we press at times and I’m not sure arbitrary keybinds are the play.

It would still be a bit of extra utility that the class needs. For example, in M+ a spell like this would be helpful, specially this week.

Just going to rip dnd 5e off for some other ideas for monk:
Slow Fall
Beginning at 4th level, you can use your reaction when you fall to reduce any falling damage you take by an amount equal to five times your monk level.
Stillness of Mind
Starting at 7th level, you can use your action to end one effect on yourself that is causing you to be charmed or frightened.
Purity of Body
At 10th level, your mastery of the ki flowing through you makes you immune to disease and poison.
Timeless Body
At 15th level, your ki sustains you so that you suffer none of the frailty of old age, and you can’t be aged magically. You can still die of old age, however. In addition, you no longer need food or water.
Enrage effects by themselves aren’t too prominent in the game. It would do very little for raid utility, but it would be useful in M+ on Raging weeks and specific dungeons like ToP, HoA, MoTS and DoS out of the top of my head.
There are only three classes that can dispel enrage: Druids, Hunters and Rogues (Mind Numbing Poison + Shiv). It’s a weaker dispel effect that wouldn’t really cause too much of a shakeup in the meta, if at all. Seems like a valid change to me and it fits the class perfectly too.

It would be nice as a tank on raging week.
Plus, I still think roll / chi torpedo should help us negate fall damagd similar to blink.
Mages and warriors can avoid fall damage, bug monks can’t?

This is the best part of being Night Fae.
Most monks are pandarens with the bouncy trait (takes 50% less fall damage passively). That’s already pretty good. If I were to wish for something, I’d ask for something that might make a real difference. I’d even be willing to trade an ability… I’m looking at you Zen Meditation. Our one big cool down ability that Blizzard gives us and years later many of us still struggle to find any use for it.
I arise, a phoenix from the ashes. Learned and mature. Never to forsake the freedoms bestowed to me again…
Also, why not convert our little poof cloud into something that reduces fall damage in areas where flying isn’t allowed? Love that buddy, especially when pvping in vertical zones like nazjatar.
