Now don’t get me wrong, I love my girl here. Probably the only race that feels right for Warlock on Alliance side. Still, I can’t help but wonder if my Red skinned girl should have been Horde (and give me a nightmare trying to decide between Her, a Male Orc or Male Undead.)
No, as cool as they are the Horde hates demon races more than Alliance does. And on top of the orcs history with draenei and the manari being part of how they became corrupted it just wouldn’t be good for any party involved. On top of that we would never hear the end of the alliance of how the horde got one of their races as they post on void elves.
2 differences there is the earthen can be on both factions unlike void elves. And second just remind them of the reaction at blizzcon how the entire room became silent because “NO ONE” wanted it. But hey who needs cool races that been asked for years when you can get “tall dwarves”
Agreed, I was just wondering if Horde should have gotten us as it would have given Horde Draenei model (and sexy waggle)
Saaaame
If Blizzard plays their cards right. Still you have a point. And like I said, I’m grateful to have a good Warlock race on Alliance. Even if it’s just a Red skinned Draenei. Even love what they did with Gift of the Naaru.
But couldn’t that be flipped around to a “yeah, we know what’s like to get a skin condition from past leaders playing with fel magic” bonding experience?
(Not that I’m looking for more alts to play or intraspecies faction divides, but it feels like it would have been an easy rationalization to make them join the Horde)
Oh there certainly could be any number of scenarios to justify Man’ari on Horde. The Horde (at least Thrall’s) is about second chances, look at the Forsaken and Blood elves.
Rather than “give” models piecemeal to one side or the other, they should be working on a faction toggle so you can have whoever you want on whichever side you want.
Well sure, but that’s a much bigger hurdle technically speaking, and a lot more that can go wrong. I want that too but not so much that they should break things for it
