Should I switch to zanda?

Hello, I’m considering giving my rogue another go and I’m wondering if I should be switching to zandalari or not…

I like both races but what’s giving me trouble is the active racial of zandalari “regeneratin”. I feel I’ll miss rocket jump a lot and wont get to benefit much from regeneratin.

What do you guys think?

Imo, there’s no reason to be a Zandalari rogue other then the cosmetic appeal. If you like being a giant troll with big toes, go for it. If I was horde, Id roll orc rogue.

You’re definetely right, I sure want to switch because I find Zandalari to look amazing but I feel that I’ll miss my goblin once I’m used to the look.

Any zandalari rogue that like the racials can share his experience maybe?

Sorry for throwing a wrench in your gears, BUT, something else to consider:

Do Zandalari rogues get bonus gold from pickpocketing?

I bet it adds up if you play thoroughly…

It’s offset by the city of gold racial, 2% bonus to all looted gold :stuck_out_tongue:

I use the glider racial almost on CD, but I have used the healing racial maybe 3 times total since I race changed when ZT became available. I do like the look, however.

Zandalari do not get 2% extra gold from pickpocketing. The racial also does not trigger for every mob looted in aoe packs.

I bg leveled a zanda rogue.
I found that being able to blind and regeneratin was a lot of fun.

However, at max level there’s a lot of random/RNG DoT effects from HoA stuff. It sort of nullifies the racial unless you have a shield, IE: if you are a mage.

I see little to no advantage from the racials performance wise. The extra crit chance from one of the LoA buffs probably helps but it hasn’t been noticeable to me. I used the glider racial every now and again when the engineering glider is on cd. The regeneratin racial sounds good on paper but any damage cancels it and so I usually get one tick at best. I personally preferred the Blood Elf cosmetically and arcane torrent was very useful as a dispel. I refuse to give Blizz another $10.00 to go back and I rarely look at my big gangly troll self anyways.

It would be for purely cosmetic reasons. If you like how Zandalari look, then go for it.

Been planning on a horde rogue for various reasons, been leaning to Orc or Undead myself. Undead just seem to fit the bill.

Race change to whatever you like. Racials shouldn’t really come into it.

If you like how they look and how they play, play it.

Racials and races don’t really mean that much in casual PvP.
