Should i resub?

For me SL is fun. It has the feel of all my favorite expansions all wrapped up into one game. BC, WotLK for sure… It has features from the newer ones too but has removed the really bad gear. Gear is harder to get tho… Trade off but worth it!

Potentially, but if I were you, I’d resub for just one month before deciding to commit to the 6-month sub or not.

Just to make sure you’re happy with it. And if you are, great! If not, that’s fine too, and you end up saving about 60 dollars :man_shrugging:

what kind of trash advice is this?

I wouldn’t come back until the next major patch hits.

There are a lot of problems that Blizzard are just putting off till the Con.

Don’t jump headfirst into a 3 foot pool. Sub for a month, and see how it is. Gearing situation for PvE has a high chance of achieving parity to PvP with 9.1.

If you sign up for the six-month sub and discover after a month that you’re not into it, you won’t be able to get a refund for any unused time. My advice would be to start with just one month of game time; if you’re enjoying the game, then consider the six-month subscription.

Do what you want. Don’t let others tell you how to feel. That’s my 2¢…

After re-reading this thread it makes me wish Blizzard would allow some “free to return” weekend thing or a similar campaign, allow players who have had inactive subs for over a year to return to the game, upgraded to Shadowlands, for a week or something.

I honestly wouldn’t suggest playing this game if you want a good MMO play any of the other big 3 if you really want to invest your time. Its a clown fiesta of chores but the pvp can be fun,. regardless its f2p if you use gold which is sufficiently supplied so if you’re bored and relapsing to resub like a lot of us you will find enjoyment for a few days at least lel.

Btw how are you not subbed currently xD I assume you mean should you buy the xpac?

Do you still have to buy SL? If so thats iffy. If you already prepurchased and are just paying 15 dollars, then yes the levelling experience and a few weeks in are probably worth it. After that the chores kick in. I noped out there but hey maybe thats your thing.

I would wait for 9.1 catchup/changes personally unless you have a group of friends.

Personally I find FFXIV and ESO more fun than WoW, something I thought I would never say even in BFA.
