Hey guys, currently a warrior and it’s okay. Thinking about rerolling mage specifically fire for arenas and PVP. Is it worth it or not after nerf?

warrior is the best melee in the game
fire is best wizard debatable with sp above moonkin
arms in a very good spot rn, but if its just not the class for you… fire is still strong and bursty.
I don’t see fire getting nerfs soon so its probably safe to play.
Eh, depends. Rerolling Mage with never playing it before, not going to work as well as you might hope.
Warrior is S tier, Mage is A tier. Warrior is easier to play by a lot.

if you’re struggling to 1vx as arms you’ll 200% not be able to do it as mage, this seems like a player skill issue
try ret, ret is prob the most overtuned spec atm and requires 0 thought to succeed with

I agree but if your partner is instagibbed by a cheesy 1 shot, it’s possible. My buddy is doing that cheesy 1 shot with skulkers now and it kills in less than a second.
I’d say rogue can still pull it off.

I think ele boomy and spriest are top wizard rn personally and with stat scaling will be insane.
Eles get their bis leggo next tue as well.
I think best wizard is between ele or boom rn. Think Eles bis personally esp with that leggo
No matter how much they nerf warrior your toolkit is at its best in SL. War was lacking a win condition apart from sharpen blade. Spear of bastion is that win condition.
They can nerf damage but the utility is really really good for warriors. We also got spell reflect intervene for even more disruption.

Fire mage for 2’s, Warrior for 3’s unless you get RMP.
Yea I do agree, however I chose to go with venthyr as im going to be raiding and pvp’ing. I asked some others warrior friends in my guild and most of them said I would be fine going with venthyr for raiding/pvp’ing.
Play what you enjoy
Pvping as venthyr just felt awkward. Condemn is good but I find myself rage starved. It is definitely the best in pve. For a great pvp experience: kyrian.

It would be nice if I could just PVP like the good old days. Having to spend hours doing Torghast, renown grinding, leggo farming, etc is just so unappealing.
