I posted here to draw attention to an exploit that is actually game breaking. Its been known about since beta and there is zero info in any of the blue posts as far as something being addressed.
There is currently an exploit that lets people get rep with a faction way ahead of anyone else who does not do it. Effectively breaking the economy yet again and devalueing this whole new crafting system.
People have been bragging about this exploit cause they have little to no fear that blizzard will actually act. I do to seeing as nothing has been said about this. I find it hard to believe no one at all didnt report this during beta. As I pointed out on my first post blizzard doesnt seem to act on bug reports as evidanced buy people only seeing action after someone goes public with the info.
Blizzard needs to stop cutting back on/devalueing their CS team cause thats why bug reports go unresolved. Blizzard also needs to come down harder on those who exploit systems like this. Cause as it stands it really seams to me the the best options to have gold in this game and buy some of the cool stuff is to cheat or swipe my card.
I came back to wow really looking forard to the changes and new systems, particularly the new crafting and gathering system. But this just ruins that… iirc they even made a point about giving better feedback to those who report players/things. But i really dont feel like thats the case. And then i get my post deleted.
Its been 4 days blizzard. 4 days! I sat through the disaster that was the boat situation. Random DCs, and some other UI related stuff. All because i was excited by what was up for offer this time around. Was even planning on upgrading my purchase to the $90 version cause i was feeling like wow would be worth my time again. And so far im having fun but an exploit like this really cuts into that fun real quick. So now im feeling less sure about playing if i have this little faith in blizzard actually adressing issues like this.
I just want to see an acknowledgement that they know about the problem and are going to fix/reprimand those who cheated. Cause there is another saying, “if you cant beat them, join them”.

no, you should try to do it the right way. the honorable way. the skilled way.
Then I wouldn’t risk it.
To be left in the dust? To watches prices inflate faster than i can make gold the “honorable” way? Or wait till the end of the expansion when some prices finally come down?
Why delete my last post on it then (which had some info on the exploit but hardly an real explanation) if they are actually gonna do something about it, say more than just a 3 day ban. Cause 3 days is nothing compared to the advantage you gain. More people knowing how it works only matters if they arent gonna do anything of real consequence

I mean might as well, Doing research on this now. Crafting is serious business right now, and if people are getting ahead with the faction grind. I am force to do it also.
It was deleted. Flagged by someone on the forum and confirmed by a mod. I cant imagine why 
. Either someone who has been using it or someone who doesnt want more using it cause much like me im not convinced blizzard will actually do anything of consequence in redards to it.
Do you value your account? If so, then I would advise against it. Also if a mod deleted your post, you should of taken the hint not to recreate it. There was probably a reason for it.
Someone in my last post commented it was kown since beta and that it gives you months of an advantage. Im in a gold making discord and people know of it there too but have only said like a month advantege which is still way too much
Ya, that is crazy I play this game for gold making, and playing market. The crafting was the main reason I came back. The fact this was known shows just how bad Blizzard really is on quality control. I’m pretty much forced to do it if I am going to compete.

Yes i likely gave a bit too much info on how it was done/enough to easily find where to see how its done
Also im sure my ive drawn attention to my account now that ive posted here about it. Id really rather see it fixed than participating with scum like the cheaters using it.
OP,
If you are seeing people cheat, then contact Blizzard about it. If Blizzard chooses to not fix the exploit or ban the people doing it, I guess that shows you what Blizzard’s values are.
