Should I play RP server for more social interaction?

It’s hard to blame anyone. But it’s a known sad joke that many players will never talk in group content, most people in the capital are just working on their own stuff.

I don’t think I am a hardcore RPer, I enjoy the lore, I enjoy fantasizing my own character and its setting and its role in the world. But that’s it.

Now you may think I totally should at least try out playing in RP realm, but I also want solid gameplay. It won’t be a game to me if there’s no action, not even a decent amount of people would do end game content or pvp.

RPPVP servers have less spergs and more mature players. now understand when i say less, i mean instead of 95% it’s 90%.

If you want more interaction, I do recommend an RP server. With cross server, pugging end game content is easy though not something I recommend. The bigger RP servers like Wyrmrest Accord and Moon Guard have a good number of end game PvE guilds that I know of (I can’t speak to other servers as I only play on those two). But I definitely prefer the interactions that I get from people on my server. It feels a lot more alive here.

I’m also biased as I play on Wyrmrest, so…

Wyrmrest is Horde majority and MG is Alliance majority right?

If you go on Proudmoore or Moonguard or any RP servers at all:

NEVER GO TO GOLDSHIRE INN.

NEVER
NEVER
NEVER

Depends on your back story.

I guess I am looking for a more lively version of wow. I tried Stormrage and Area 52, there’re a ton of people, but quiet like a graveyard.

The idea that RPers somehow don’t like to participate in PVE or PVP content is so unusual. RP is something to do when you don’t feel like raiding/dungeoning or doing BGs/arena. That’s all.

If you’re Horde, I recommend Wyrmrest Accord. If you’re Alliance, I recommend Moon Guard. There are plenty of guilds that push content on both.

Personally, I don’t understand why anyone would want to play on a Normal server. The communities on those servers are just weird to me.

Find a good guild – that is truly the only way. The general population is garbo.

Correct, though I do think there is a healthy population of the opposite faction on each.

Emerald Dream is pretty balanced between both factions

I don’t blame you for wanting more interaction. I’m taking a break because wow has been a single player game for me and I have much better single player games in my backlog (play horizon zero dawn currently)

But if you do want a game with a large RP groups, try ESO.

Nah, just find a active guild.

You mean the total lack of a community? I left for Stormrage for a bit for content and I just couldn’t handle how dead Normal servers feel.

OP if you want to RP PVP then watch this and join them.

Haven’t been over to the ol’ love shack lately.

Yes come to MG we are mostly friendly…well, Horde side. Can’t speak for Allies. Always events going on and we talk and /wave

Find a more active guild.

On any server…

I heard ED is dead now after they added Warmode in the game for some reason.

I recommend an RP server for anybody friendly who likes the games story, you don’t have to RP to be on an RP server.

I played on Dalaran for almost all of legion and was miserable since it was such a toxic cesspit, the moment I switched over to an RP server the game just became a ton more fun.

Tbh if I was still on Dalaran I might’ve quit WoW entirely when BFA dropped.
