If you’re not liking the PvP in WoW, then there is nothing wrong with trying out other PvP style games.
As to it taking a long time for latecomers to enter the arenas: Those other players put the time in to get the gear and experience they have to play those modes. You should do the same, you shouldn’t get handouts just because you arrived late to the party.
smite is better than league. if you want a good pvp game, then yea. WoW is not for you. after hearing that recent interview where the pvp dev quite literally said they ignore most feedback and have no one even looking for it, pvp is a dead meme that’s not worth it anymore. this whole idea of “giving the meta a while to play out” while people are globalling each other does not cut it.
You shouldn’t play League of Legends at all. The state of WoW’s PvP is unrelated.
There are other PvP focused games that aren’t garbage fires.

If I just want to pvp I wouldn’t pick wow for sure. I’d pick a sci-fi type or first person shooter game. A game were I could just jump in and play against other people. WoW requires a lot of things not related to pvp if you want to even halfway keep up.
Yes and no if you have a thick skin then yes if no NO they are very toxic over there you can’t even sneeze without someone calling you out on that.
I would agree but i just can’t get into the 3d aspect of it the combat just feels weird to me for a Moba game for some reason.

I don’t know, but in any pvp game every single serious player is going to be using every exploit, bug, glitch, or even cheats to beat you. That’s the sad reality of the highend of pvp as they literally break the game to beat others. Regardless of what ever game you play people are so incredibly desperate to win they’ll ruin your game hoping you quit if that’s what it takes.
WoW can’t undo years of this type of bad behavior no matter the design decisions the devs make.
The click to move thing league has going on feels so childish to me. I can’t get into it because of that. The community toxicity also doesn’t help - I tried it for a month a while ago and got called the N word, F word and told to kill myself more times than I could even count
I simple turn all my chat off by now not worth seeing most people type for the very few who aren’t toxic.
play dota. Atleast don’t have to pay for gameplay that locked heroes in lol are.
WoW PvP has always been an afterthought and anyone who takes it seriously is just too bad to compete in other actual PvP games.
If PvP is all you’re here for, you’re playing the wrong game.
LoL has probably one of the most toxic communities I’ve ever witnessed. I’ve played since 2012 and it only deteriorates with time.
Other than the community. The balance is okay-ish. There’s 153 champions so it’s never going to be balanced but they least put more attempt into it than Blizzard.
My suggestion is give it shot. It’s f2p so there’s very little commitment other than time. Play against bots or ARAM to even see if you like the play style
No if you are interested in a MMO focused upon PvP then go check out Guild Wars 2. That will be the game you are looking for.
If you want balance in a MOBA, LoL is the worst possible offender.
