Should I leave my Guild?

Dear guild:

And then peace out

Quit your guild, start your own, new, BETTER guild! Get all the other disgruntled guildies to join you. Yes it will be a long hard thankless grind…

Couldn’t you have just wrote to “Dear Abby” in the newspaper?

In all seriousness it sounds like this guild has their “clique” and enjoy playing with each other. Unfortunately you can only have 5 people in Mythics. Don’t take it so personally as if they don’t like you. I mean, you started this post by saying how you informed the GM that you wanted to play at your pace and didn’t want to be pushed.

IMO you started on the wrong foot right there if you were looking to progress with the guild to begin with.

Id kill for a guild like that. Not anything with the drama or issues, i actually didnt even read what the issue was…but the fact you have a guild thats active and engaged enough to even have problems makes me jelly.

I havent seen a real, active, engaged guild in WOW in the longest time.

Ive resorted to joining whatever auto invite guilds spam comes my way and then leaving once its clear im in a dead chat guild with a discord that maybe has a few actives and a ton of afk people…but every guild seems exactly this…a dead collection of auto invitees and no guild personality.

The best is when i come back after 6 months a year or more and im in the same guild i was in before, like holy cow there is zero management going on.

Leave the guild

sounds like something’s missing from this story. how do you really interact with this guild?

Ditch them and join us. We need good players for our raid team, and there is absolutely no salt or “inner circles” forming.

The only way to become officer is to interact with all other guildies not just the ones you like.

Maybe I come off annoying or conceited if I do I dont mean to I do put alot in the bank to help and I guess I can come off chill as one went out their way to bnet me and they had only been in the guild 3 days

If you’re questioning it, then yes, leave.

Trust your gut.

I am not sure why we needed to insert assumptions about generation here, but I am a Millennial, as most WoW players are, and it was too much for me to read either.

I get its a bit much to read I just wanted to be sure that I put facts in maybe a little too informative I did want to keep the guild in the dark for respect reasons

Sorry to be exclusatory.

Zoomers and milennials ain’t got no time to read. Gotta post them Tiktok’s to the Chinese Communists.

I wonder what it is like to be older than 40 and still be so bitter and ignorant about the existence about other people.

Mohanlal, I wholeheartedly believe it is time for you to move on. I have been (and am currently in) a guild that has a clique, and if you aren’t part of the clique, you are basically just a number to them. The only reason I seem to be useful to the guild I am currently in is because I am a gatherer of mats and if they need mats for whatever, then I am useful. Otherwise they don’t know I am even in their guild.

I am currently exploring other guild options and I suggest you do the same. Being part of a guild like that is just about like playing solo, all you really get out of it is a shorter hearthstone reset.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

Paranoid and very long winded. You should of had a open discussion with all of them. In the end you reminded me of every bad/stalky gf that couldn’t take the hint.

What kind of “friend” bails on you to go play with the guild – leaving you behind.

bro take a hint they dont like you. should have left 6 months ago.

sad thing is I have multiple times they apologize and say theyll get more guildies for groups in the future then next week do the exact same thing

TBH, I haven’t been in a guild that did much or I liked since BC. So, I would stay until you organically find a bunch of bros.
