If you want to play it just play it, granted the community will make it hell on you, if you don’t fit in the meta, then you don’t get a spot in pugs. but if you run with friends then no problem, If your friends say this stuff then loose them.
Granted when boomie does 2x the dps of half the specs in the game i can see why people push druids to play it.
but if you don’t care about that then just do you.

I don’t know what the necro lords button does, but my night fae feral with convoke is just a joy to play.

makes dots do more damage
for me right now its 48% more damage
then its a matter of what you want.
Personally i say swap, just because you will be invited 90% of the time for anything, you will get the love of the team, all the priest buffs and so on…
but if you hate it, then will there be any love in playing it at all, will you still enjoy the content, or will you resent it?
the choice comes down to you and you alone
my only experience with a feral in m+ was a guy doing less damage than me (tank) on trash, but a superstar on bosses.
I’ll invite a boomkin next time.
Feral is good, like equally as good as any top DPS if you know what you are doing, it’s just that balance is better, has more utility and is ranged which means you get more chances to join a group because this expansion is designed to benefit ranged more.
But if you are confident enough with your own skill and can offer enough in M+, raid and PVP in feral, than I say go for it. Problem is the community does not like it so if you say you are feral they may not even take you.

Its simple either you go convoke or you get convoked 
it just annoys me that if i wana be more likely to get into rated i need to play flavor :\
That is why people telling you to go boomkin
No convoke = no damage
I know a guy that I used to play on moon guard that went to Sargeras, he was really good at feral because convoke helps his bleeds way better than the other abilities
You’re literally gimping yourself because not going night fae and that’s why people are telling you to switch, including covenant
