I’m trying to decide between Female worgen/nelf for my new hunter. I’m gonna be choosing night fae and I love the mail set. One thing I noticed, though, is that the worgen’s mane clips through the back. This sort of annoys me. Then I realized nelf ears also clip. Then belf eyebrows. Then I could think of a lot more.
So should I just get used to it? lol
Given that Blizzard couldn’t even design blood elf-specific heritage armor that doesn’t have problems with eyebrow clipping (or nightborne armor with similar issues), yes, you’re just going to have to live with it.
You’ll be the one looking at them from behind.
Personally, I find the ear/eyebrow clipping more tolerable. Smaller than the giant mane and it feels easier to explain there’s slits for the ears.
I would say, pick what you are ok with looking at. Ultimately, it is up to you for what you want to look at.
Well I love the female worgen shape and how tall they are, and also their lore and stuff. I hate how skinny and small nelf/human women are, but they have less mog issues. So it’s a hard choice for me.

Theres also the Hide Helmet option.
This is kind of the nature of fully customizable characters. You simply can’t account for clipping, and make unique clothing at the same time, there’s too many variables to cover for the art team.
They’d need to remake every single armor model and texture for each and every race in order to achieve this, and even then things like customized eyebrows, hair, etc would still be an issue. it’s simply too much work for not a lot of gain.
My giant ears clip through my plague mask, but to me there’s a certain charm to it.
That said, I play exclusively anthro races so clipping is something I’ve learned to accept.
WoW has always clipped like Edward Scissorhands on a caffeine drip, from the basics like eyebrows to the “prestige” stuff.
The Paladin Flail from the Mage Tower? The head clips into the ground when held by male Blood Elves. It goes from “grand and glorious weapon of holy power” to “huge and gaudy bank pen chained to the floor”. It’s awful.
